Why don't we let the season play out?

You REALLY must like that kool-aid...LOL !

Meh, it makes it easy to me. Sumlin has to win, no excuses and no room for excuses.

If he wins 9 this year it still doesn't change the fact that your depth chart is completely depleted going into 2017. Surely someone can have some foresight.
As Raymond said, I hope not though

Normally you do but the point is that the offseason has been a shite show for y'all.

I get that. However, should we win big, we're stuck with someone that I don't believe can sustain that success.

Aren't they 76–37–5 against you in football?

If he wins 9 he is staying. We don't have the kind of history needed to fire a coach after ten wins and survive the PR backlash. People mocked Nebraska for doing it, and we are way worse historically than Nebraska.

Good. We do.

No offense, but I don't see y'all winning 10 anyways. Arkansas, Tennessee, Bama, Ole Miss and LSU are all tough games and you need to win 3 of those.

They'll be much better off cutting ties with Sumlin and giving that 5 mil to Herman.
Its not the losses, you'll have that in the SEC West from time to time, its the dysfunctional nature of the team right now. The Aggies seem like a group of individuals who just happen to be wearing the same jersey.
I've taken my share of shots at LSU's collapse last season... but with Les Miles' job in jeopardy the Tigers came out full of fire and won the game.
LSU was able to rally around their HC when they had too, does anyone think that the Aggie team would do the same right now?

Sarge says A&M is everyone's daddy, depending on who has talked badly about A&M. Don't let the records and/or overall program success fool you.

What better way to flaunt your money than by paying more than things are worth?

LSU rebounded recruiting wise as well. TAMU has done the exact opposite of that. Idk how Sumlin can right the ship. You're right in that it's more culture right now than Ws and Ls.

I'm just trying to figure out what Sarge's angle is. Every thread his first post is either remarking that someone posted the thread or all A&M all the time or some other nonsense. Then he calls A&M everyone's daddy. Then he defends A&M. If he could skip the first two salvos in every thread, he might make a little more sense. I was truly interested to see why he says A&M is "daddy." My next question is why the hell he thinks being "daddy" is such an awesome thing to post nonstop.

thought you did that when you gave Sumlin a raise?

He has the same dumb response to virtually EVERYTHING....not much left to "defend" over in aggieland and the collapse has been glorious to witness...LOL !

Right, in a state like Texas you can land a highly rated recruiting class any year, but turning around the culture of a team is a lot more difficult. For a school that stresses loyalty as much as A&M its a real surprise to see them like this.
