And most of the LF mention has been the UGA fan who thinks that's where the LSU fan is going with his argument. The argument is being made poorly, but it has merit.

I think the gap is smaller than GoldenDawg will admit. Chubb is clear-cut #1, but it's not necessarily a huge gap.

Their insecurity about other RB's, particularly Fournette, is palpable.

All you have to do is say "sure, Chubb is awesome. I still like the guy we have" Boom. Ten pages.

GoldenDawgs hyperbole in this thread is fricking terrible.

Hurd is "not in the same realm" as Chubb and we know it from one year of play?

20 years as a litigator?

Are you drunk?

This is not what happens and you know it. It's more like "We have no logical reason or proof, but LF is just as good or better...SEC West...Les is an idiot...10 man fronts...quarterback was a parapalegic, etc."

Fournette is the GOAT but there will be a lot of asterisks in the record book:

*O-line sucked
*QB sucked
*Defense sucked
*Coach sucked
*WRs sucked
*TE sucked
*Equipment sucked
*Played in the West
*Stiff dew on the field

Can you show us where in these 9 pages this happened?

You'll be looking for awhile.

Chubb plays in the east. This is dumb. Fournette is the best RB in the nation

Hm, only found this one...in this thread.Seems most of your posters stayed out of this one, aside from yourself. Maybe they finally realized that when other team's fans, not just Georgia fans, call you out for BS...they should just leave it alone.

They finally realized it's best not to bring up LF. Now they've just resorted to trying to diminish Chubb's success.

What is strange is that I agreed Chubb was the best and you UGA ilk didn't know what to do with yourselves.

Invented your own arguments over and over.

Sad really.

Actually that isn't true either.

I posted numbers, Chubb's freshman year is up there with the all time greats. Good stuff really.

Chubb is clearly the best RB in the conference right now, Henry seems to be the clear cut #2 back. LF has the talent to be as good as them , he just doesn't have the stats they have. IMO Chubbs , Henry and LF are the top 3 backs in the conference this year and should prove it with there stats. All 3 should get more carries now that they are the #1 back on there teams. Some of the other guys like wilds and Taylor could get a lot more stats this year now that they are the starter ing backs on there team. While some guys like the Arkansas duo will likely get similar carries so they could fall lower unless they do a lot better withe the carries they get.

What about YPG ? That seem to be one of the most popular stats in comparing RBs.

Didn't include YPG because there is so much disparity between how many carries each of these guys got. The majority split a significant number of carries with other running backs on their team.

It will be interesting to see how the RBs do this year solo and as a duo. Arkansas duo seems to get a lot of hype but they were 5th last year in conference play behind BAMA , Auburn , USCe and UF. I would think BAMA , LSU or UGA would have the best duo this year .

From what you posted, Chubb was the best of those rbs last year. He is certainly talented and if he can play at that level again, he should be one of the best again. The season hasn't started and the SEC backs are loaded this year. The best back is up for grabs. Chubb's resume' is legit though.

Yea it has nothing to do with Chubb being feature back and fournette sharing load with 3 other running backs and 2 of them were seniors. I swear people on here are half ratards

depending on their respective OLines

and there you have it in a nutshell. half or more of a RB's numbers are related to the quality of the O-line. think Barry Sanders running behind the Cowboy lines Emmitt Smith had and tell me who the better back was.

Leonard Fournette - Greatest running back to ever live*

*Had to split carries with 3 other backs.

Splitting carries somehow diminishes YPC,obviously.
