If averaged over the entirety, yes. I wonder if there are lulls where the communication is less frequent? Wonder if there are times when the communication increases (like in 2016, for example). Do those lulls and increases tell us anything?
and they became friends after they "sat by one another at church one day". Right. Everyone in Oxford knows who Hugh Freeze is and we're supposed to believe the guy "coincidentally" sat by Hugh and they became great friends? Ok. Damn you OM fans are in for a harsh reality come mid November.

Yeah....you're pretty much a simpleton. Don't forget that there is an agent payed to make sure his client is protected as much as he possibly can be.
Every school commits NCAA violations every year. I know you guys like to pretend that they don't....but your beloved school admits to violating NCAA rules every year. So, by your logic, every head coach out there is subject to be fired with cause every year.

I'm having too much fun making it really obvious to the rest of the board that you have no idea how any of this works to go take a nap. I'll continue to do what I'd like, but thanks.

Bjork said the HC is ultimately responsible for the actions of his staffers even if he didn't commit the violations.

well...I guess they should have roped off that row to make sure no one sat anywhere close to Freeze....what with him being a head coach and that being against some obscure rule that only you know about...

No one is disputing that. Did they get paid a buy out?

Every coach does not get level 1 violations (which is what I was talking about) and every coach certainly doesn't have a staff that gets hit with this many. You can't actually believe that schools would not put in the coaching contracts that they can be fired for cause over NCAA violations. Like you really believe that?

. More importantly for me, these calls have been documented by NCAA investigators and there is nothing in the noa about it. And the noa meets in less than a month. Enjoy your weird gossip thread though. I prefer sports threads.
Because Ole Miss is getting ANOTHER NOA. Lol

This all makes perfect sense. When your boys are banging a ho they work up an appetite.
Hugh thought of everything.
Hugh thought of everything.

I've never seen one of those clauses
Noy going to dig through Freezee's contract, but a 'we can fire your arse if you get tagged by the NCAA' clause is very common in coaches contracts.
Hell, Saban even has one in his contract.

There was no such thing as "level 1 violation" when Freeze was hired and his initial contract written. Contracts deal in specifics...not generalities or things that could be argued to a grey area.

So what's the exact number of violations written in his contract that would allow us to fire him with cause?
You seem to know what you're talking about....so I'm just trying to get the specifics out of you....because...you know...you obviously know the factual information regarding this discussion and in no way just making shite up.

shhhhh...dammit I'm fricking with the guy and you're ruining it.
Also that clause in Saban's contract is meaningless as he would never make the NCAA investigate his own program.

The Saban contract also includes clauses that he can be fired for cause, including major NCAA violations and behavior that puts himself or the university "into public disrepute, contempt, embarrassment, scandal or ridicule."
Lawd - if similar language exists in HF's contract, OM coulda shite canned him at any moment with cause if they wanted to.

oh wow....my bad. I didn't realize just how smart you were. I would have never guessed that Hugh Freeze coached Auburn baseball under the pseudo-name of Sunny Galloway in his spare time.

The real issue with that whole ordeal was we had some cause to fire him but not enough without it basically trashing our entire defense to the NCAA. This way, we were able to fire him, keep the $$$, and still hold firm to our NCAA defense.

and now it's time to pour me a drink and try to Freeze my way into a sloot tonight.
