I'm sure it has happened before and the only time I can even remotely remember something like that happening was with the recruitment of Shea Patterson. Now, that is a player it is worth hiring someone to get on board...unfortunately OM hired the brother and the rest is history. Otherwise, no we don't have to do that to get recruits.

NYC stop being a douche and trying SO hard to prove your point. Makes you look insecure. I said I'm sure it may have happened in the past but it has not happened anytime in recently....go on and research it and tell me the last time we hired a HS coach to get a recruit in the last 10 years. I am happy to be proved wrong..
