RW III has he whole life in front of him.

Smart decision, hate to see the kid not be able to play next year.

It's sad that a student athlete is so mature about a very tough life decision, yet there are idiots who down vote threads like this.

Who's the jackoff that's downvoting well-wishers of a kids future? GDIAF

You're a fricking idiot. If you read what Rawleigh wrote, he gave very sincere thanks to the staff.

I did read it. It was very classy. Glad he made the right decision.

Good decision.

Bert has a nasty history of running his players--and RBs in particular--into the ground.

Glad this young man was smart enough to realize this and get out before e suffered a catastrophic injury.

Wow, you are pathetic

All the best to this young man.

You don't mess around with the spine. This is a smart but tough decision. I've had four spine operations and had to learn to walk again.

That sucks. Hopefully he takes advantage of his education and is successful through another avenue.

What a stupid comment. I guess that is why Bielema has always had two and when the opportunity presents itself three RBs share the carries.

Damn, his neck issues must be pretty bad for him to quit at 20 w/how good he is. I hope he is successful in whatever he decides to do now.

I don't blame him one bit. I hope he has all the success in the world in his "new" life.

I don't agree with this. The only problem I've had with Bert, is how he handles his QBs. They take tons of unnecessary abuse at times.

Austin Allen probably disagrees. Bert allowing that kid to play through multiple injuries last year was criminal.

Good decision, Rawleigh. You're the man with football or without.
