Martin came from LSU - I don't like what he did here with FootballScoop but he's been pretty good in his couple years since the old SID left for Clemson.

The SID is essentially responsible for representing the program to the media and general public. This was not a good look. The athletic director at MSU came up from the SID ranks - Auburn, Tulane (rode with RichRod's undefeated season), Baylor (handled the murder of a basketball player well while he was there) and Kentucky. He should know better as well.

Not sure if this was directed to me specifically or if I was just conveniently the last post. I think we're in agreement here though. Poorly handled, specifically when his job is to portray a positive image for the university from a PR standpoint. Couldn't speak to quality across the rest of the SEC though. I imagine Ole Miss' SID will be put to the test over the next few weeks and months though, .
