So you agree? Good to know.

Agree with what?

It is a well known fact that Vanderbilt can provide qualifying athletes with additional money in the form of need-based and academic grants.

But I am uncertain of what this has to do with my initial statement that Corbin, unlike Cohen, took over a program with no real history of success.

Twice-to-triple the scholarship money -- for a degree worth a lot more money. I'd say the deck is pretty damn stacked in Corbin's favor.

Otherwise, I'm sure you can explain to me why a Yastrzemski would drive from Massachusetts through MULTIPLE college baseball powerhouses -- with better facilities, better fan support, better history, more established coaches, etc -- to come play in Nashville.

You REALLY think people are going to consider him the best coach in the SEC -- when he's had two of the best regular season teams in SEC history choke their asses off and fail to reach Omaha from the #1 and #2 national seeds? Really? 1 trip to Omaha and 3 additional Super Regionals in 11 seasons. You really don't think Cohen makes 2 more supers in the next 6 years to match Corbin's run in the postseason?

The hilarity of all this is that we're NOT EVEN CLOSE to peaked yet from a talent perspective. Hell, we've only got ONE CLASS on campus that was recruited after a winning season.

This right here is why you really don't want an MSU NC to happen.

Mark my words, book mark this post, save it, frame it, I don't give a shite. Worst possible scenario.

These same stupid fricks were bitching about Cohen incessantly 2 years ago for running off current players and signing dirt bag, punk arse replacements (something Bianco should have been doing since McDonnell left in 2008). The shite worked and now they are tripping over their own dicks to suck his...

Wake up SECr. shite is about to get grindiciulous around here...

I have to agree ... I'm starting to worry.

I'd offer a witty reply, but you wouldn't get it, so why bother? I'll just be content with the fact that you live in a third-world state and support a fourth-rate athletic program. Damn, your life sucks.

Wow. His team gets hot for two weeks and he's the next Rod Dedeaux.

I do enjoy these delusions.

What delusions? Cohen restored order at a doormat powerhouse in SEC baseball. Simple as that.

Yea, who needs a good hitting coach/great recruiter with a ton of SEC experience.

Yea, I realize you guys dipped in hitting his year, but losing Yarbrough, Snyder, Kirksey and a couple others will do that to you.

Would people be saying this had you guys not gotten hot?

While we received the same benefit last year, lets face it you guys got a good draw in the CWS with your side of the bracket.

OSU, Louisville, Indiana? That's about as good as you can get.

bullshite

Most everyone here was overusing that stupid 2 and BBQ meme on us. Like they did for Virginia.

Also, in the last three years Cohen has gotten us to the Supers after a few long rebuilding years, SECTourney title, and hosting this year for the 1st time in a decade. The team has improved every year for three years now and is three games away from a national title. If that isn't rebuilt I don't know what is.

All kinds of next level fail in this...

And your excuse for why the guys who are playing this year (and have been in Godwins system for two years) are not hitting? Your excuse for why our top hitter is a JUCO who stepped on campus and started hitting? You also realize that Snyder, Yarbs, Kirk and Newalu had nothing to do with Godwin. He didn't recruit them, he didn't coach them, he didn't develop them. They were set in their good hitting habits long before Godwin stepped on campus. If anything, Godwin stayed out of their way and that's his best coaching decision to date...

I say again, PLEASE DEAR GOD ALMIGHTY, make this happen...

You mean delusions like preseason national title winners not even hosting regionals?

Yet WE were the delusional ones when we told you fools in the preseason that WE WERE BACK...

I guess it's strictly coincidental to you that our (2 decent, 1 good) teams under Cohen always just accidentally tend to peak in the postseason huh?

Yeah -- Vandy, Virginia, FSU, Oregon St, Louisville, Indiana, Kansas St...ALL regional hosts making super regionals. REAL cake walk...

Yeah -- let's just ignore who they went through(on the road in two cases) to get there.

1 CWS trip to Cohen and he is the best in the SEC.

I see what you are doing here.
