LSU's Hatred of Bama: 10/10
Bama's Hatred of LSU: 5/10

The overwhelming majority of us would rather party with y'all coonasses during gameday weekend than talk shite.

Does Alabama even consider LSU as a rival?

I still haven't heard a good reason as to why Alabama fans should hate LSU.

Dude, we get it. You consider Alabama a rival. It was never in doubt, your pic is of two Alabama players in a national title game having nothing to do with LSU that they won by 28. You're clearly obsessed.

they have never been important until the last couple of years.
And LSU hasnt cared about Bama either until 2007. Before then it was UF and Aubbie.

I've never even considered there could be one. They clearly hate us for NOLA 1/9 and Baton Rouge the next year, taking championships away from them.

Thank you for agreeing it's not a rivalry game

And I bet Alabama fans living in Memphis surrounded by a lot of Ole Miss fans put extra emphasis on that game. Not sure how that's relevant to the entirety of a fanbase and alumni base.

This is a subject that could be between UT and Auburn concerning which one is more of a rivalry to Bama. Ask alot of North Bama folks and they say UT but ask the LA folks and it is hands down Aubie. UT will always be a rivalry since it has such historical roots but you can't deny that it is downplayed to the point that I almost pull for them now.

LSU has clearly taken their spot IMO in large portions of Alabama and with a significant chunck of the alumni fan base living out of state that deals more with LSU fans in general, I think LSU has overtook UT.

Nobody really cares if you do or don't.

LSU fans are good people, aside from all the whining. I don't get any hateful feelings when I watch LSU like I do some others. I'd put it at a 6 on the rivalry scale, mostly just because it's a big game now.

I thought it was awesome in 2011 when the BAMA and LSU fanbases came together to make the worlds largest pot of gumbo.

Considering how non-important this rivalry is to Bama, and how important TSIO is to them, you would think they would rearrange their bye week accordingly

With how the SEC gives us our schedule, it makes sense to take a bye early in the season and one after the UT game. How it is now, we have a bye after week 3 or 4, and one before the last 4 games (with a cupcake thrown in before the last game). It breaks the season up into 3 logical sections.
