But you fail to realize is that you lost to the best teams in your division. Making a division vs division argument is stupid when 1) we play bama every year too and 2) you cant even beat the good teams in your own division

That awkward moment when you realize LSU has a better conference record in 2016. Then over the last two years, three years, four years.......

Jesus you're dumb.

didn't realize that

but here's the thing. I recognize UT hasn't been very good lately. But then you have this idiot LSU fan trying to claim that they are currently miles above UT's level when in reality we are pretty close. All going back to my original point that LSU fans have a insanely high perception of their own program whereas the rest of the SEC isn't scared one bit of them

That awkward moment when you lose to the east champ at home and try and claim division superiority

I said better, which LSU is. There was no quantification on how much better.

You continue to make yourself look like an idiot.

So the East champion barely squeaking by the 3rd team in the West makes the East just as good now?

Are you even reading the nonsense you're typing?

Here I thought we'd already cleared this up for you. Let me post it again:

quote:

Fact: LSU has a better winning %, in the tougher division, than any time frame you can pick from the last decade.

Opinion: UT is just as good as LSU.

It's Bama and everyone else man. I'm not talking about the past decade, I'm not talking about the past 2-3 years. Right now. Take away Bama, and the divisions are fairly equal.

Bama murders L6u that year in the majority of the games played Head to Head, but unfortunately lost the last one for the trophy. Grats to L6u, you won the game that counted the most.

Something sounds familiar about that, only the shoe was on the other foot, and the foot looked at things from the other perspective...

I'd probably agree with that. I think the bottom of the East is a tad worse and the top the West a tad better, but take out Alabama and it's much closer to even.

Take away the West's best team, but leave all of the East teams and we're almost equal.

Obviously LSU is a much better baseball program, but there really isn't an other foot, because we don't trail in any series in football to SEC opponents. None of them are really even close.

Just think if the polls wouldn't have fricked Auburn in 1983, 1993 and 2004.

Swap UGA or UF with Bama and it's a little more even.

For those who think LSU's 2 cancelled cupcake wins don't matter, feel free to subtract 2 of your team's cupcake wins from your win total (since they don't matter either). Oh look! LSU has 2 more wins than Tennessee!
