The SEC began integrating their football programs in 1967 when Nat Northington played a game for the Kentucky Wildcats. The conference became fully integrated in 1972 when LSU and Ole Miss both had their first black players participate in a game.

So, since we see "post-integration" brought up quite frequently, what are the total stats for the SEC programs (the 10 in the conference in 1972, sorry new 4, not consistently comparable)?

They didnt earn it on the field

The are claiming it from a Miss State forfeiture, but they still lost to UGA, the real champs.

When people outside of the SEC think about the SEC, they think:

Alabama

LSU

Florida

...then the rest.

Kentucky claims the 1976 SEC Title. Kentucky went 4-2 in the SEC, but 1 of their 2 losses was to Mississippi State. State had a player deemed ineligible that played in the UK game and had to forfeit the game. So, Kentucky takes that to be 5-1 in the SEC, making them "tied" with Georgia (who went 5-1 too). However, Georgia beat them head to head 31-7 in Lexington.

So, yea, it's dubious at best.

TOP 5 FINISHES (AP)
Texas A&M (1)

TOP 10 FINISHES (AP)
Texas A&M (7)

TOP 25 FINISHES (AP)
Texas A&M (20)

CONFERENCE TITLES
Texas A&M (8)

A&M would be 7th, 7th, and 7th in the rankings. As for titles, who knows. We have 20 since then.

So A&M is just barely right outside the Big 6 in every category (even national titles). Interesting.

last 3 years:

LSU 25 wins
UT 25 wins

Ive said it before ill say it again. It is amazing how warped LSU fans persepctives are

Last year they predicted 11-1 for the most part, lost 2 games by the end of September, fired their coach and replaced him with a Donkey, and they are pretty much calling for a 10-2 type season this year. No one is scared of LSU anymore.

Since 2012, Vanderbilt is 3-2 vs Tennessee.

What team in their right mind is scared of the Vols?
Talk about warped perspectives. You clowns make us look rational.

Tells you how much of Tennessee's accomplishments were in grandaddys era. And I have nothing against Tennessee.
