Actually correct because the SEC West has only existed since 1991.
RE: LSU vs Auburn since 1991 - LSU has more wins and a better winning percentage over that time frame as well.
Since 1991 SEC West winning percentages vs SEC competition:
Alabama (.658)
LSU (.599)
Auburn (.575)
Texas A&M (.526)
Arkansas (.462)
MSU (.372)
Ole Miss (.366)

The SEC West has more balance from top to bottom making it the more difficult division of the two imo..
