As much shite as everyone likes to talk we are no worse than 4th considering we've made 3 SEC championship games and A&M, OM, and State have made a combined 1 by State over 10 years ago

a&m cannot make this list after one year. Same goes for mizzou in the east. LSU is definately #2 not b/c we're so great but just b/c we're more consistent than the other 4

I get what your saying, but the OP title would need to be "rank the teams currently in the SEC West based on their historical success" or something to that effect. As worded, you have one season of SEC West history. Insufficient to claim historical success even if I agree that you are equal to if not better than Arkansas as a program.

I agree. You guys just had a down year, but you've historically been better than everyone else.

I keep looking for LSU's SEC CG appearance in the 90s, I find Bama, Auburn, Arkansas, and Ms. State.

I can find Bama, Auburn, and Arkansas for the 00s.

I can find Bama and Auburn for the 10s.

So as a matter of consistency can you help me find the year LSU played for the SEC Championship in the 90s?

How many National Championships compared to Auburn, Arkansas, and Ms State?? We have 2 in the 2000s. Auburn has 1 total and I'm not sure the other 2 have any. Even if they do it was so long ago no one remembers or cares

We had one real bad stretch for about 8 years total of being down. That was recently as in the last 30 years. Historically, LSU is second best in the West. Much respect to Alabama for being top dogs. They have definitely prevented us from being the top dog. As far as these other schools, just accept your place.

The SECW has only existed since 1992.

Actually he didn't specify other than "ranking the SEC West Historically".

The SEC West started in 1992.

atm didn't do so well in the big 12 either, which is much weaker. You guys basically just got owned by texas and ou every year in your Big 12 history. Ole Miss hasn't been great but has done pretty well considering that they have to play alabama and lsu every year

What did Ole Miss do in the 1980s and 1990s? TAMU was winning conference titles and blowing up Heisman trophy winners like Bo Jackson, Ty Detmer, Andre Ware, Tim Brown, etc.
