Don't get to riled over a preseason ranking. Let the season do the talking.

you're not really ranking the "depth chart" when you only list two backs.

Probably because your best RB would be 3rd string at UGA, AU, and maybe 2nd string at LSU

Group is way too low not to mention our likely starter will be Ty'Son Williams (UNC transfer) and said to be the best back in practice over Rico who was really impressive this season as a true freshman.

I'm not going to try to look it up, but I seem to remember some posters thinking Brossette would be better than Guice when they were coming out. He looked pretty good in limited action last year.

Auburn and Arkansas too high. LSU way too low and TAMU should be one notch higher.

Thank you Rocket, I was starting to question if theRant had any real Mizzou fans on here.

1.Crockett
2.Strong
3.Witter

Witter is a great(may I say excellent) pass blocker, but he doesn't break many tackles. Strong is a much better runner.
Crockett broke the freshman record at Mizzou with 1062 yards and averaged 6.9ypc.
He was suspended the last game vs. Arkansas and Strong filled in nicely with 2 goaline TD runs.
Mizzou will turn some heads again this season. :)

I could maybe see Arkansas at 5 but anything below that is not warranted imo.

Guice is the best running back in the league, but no way do we have the best DEPTH at the position. If Guice goes down we are a boatload of shite.

*Sigh*

Nick Chubb (Sr) - 3,424 career rushing yards, 33 total career TDs, 6.7 career ypc

Sony Michel (Sr) - 2,411 career rushing yards, 525 career receiving yards, 22 total career TDs, 5.7 career ypc

Brian Herrien (Soph) - Freshman season: 363 yds, 3 TDs, 5.8 ypc

Elijah Holyfield (Soph) - Freshman season: Played in 3 games

D'Andre Swift (Fr)
- 4*, #4 RB, #33 Overall (according to 247 Composite)

Beat it, match it, or accept second place

Pettway had 17 yards vs Alabama and Johnson had a whole 39. No way in hades Auburn's rb depth is better that Alabama's.

We don't use RBs as much anymore, but our group is better than 14th in the league. Probably somewhere in the middle.

9. Kentucky: Soph. Benny Snell, Jr. Siheim King

Benny Snell rushed for 1000+ yards and 13 TDs at a 5.9 ypc clip last season as a true freshman.

King will get some of the Boom Williams snaps and redshirt frosh AJ Rose (6'1 215) is a guy to watch out for.

Frosh Bryant Koback probably won't play, as he is rehabbing a broken leg, but he rushed for more than 1000 yards and 20 tds in his first 5 games of his senior season.

I'm not saying that UK has the #1 RB depth chart or whatever, but 9 is criminally low.

We're ranked way too low. Kelly, Chandler and Aimes will be firmly in the middle next season. Kelly is proven and Chandler is a legit prospect who will contribute from day one.

I thought Kelly at Tennessee was pretty solid when he played a lot at the end of the year. He's not elite, but a good player. Runs really hard.

He's not big but he has great initial burst, and top speed and vision that's elite. He's not a Bama-style or 90's UT-style big power back but he has a chance to be great in the spread. If he beats his first man he's gone. (Had a longer TD run in his first start than either Kamara or Hurd had in their careers).
