Yea - if the question is "who is best prepared if the starter gets hurt" then LSU would drop.

Right and this is probably where the writer "punished" LSU but its not like Darrel Williams has been bad. Just hasn't proved as much as some of the back ups.

As far as "depth" goes, Bama has to get a strong consideration for #1

Harris, Scarborough, and Jacobs all performed well last season

BJ Emmons was a top 3 RB recruit and he returns from injury

Najee Harris a consensus top 5 overall recruit is added to the mix.

Yea - I can't imagine anyone has 3 upper echelon SEC RBs on their roster like Alabama, with another 2 elite talents coming in (Emmons obviously was hurt, but he's basically new all things considered).

Need to throw Nate Strong on Mizzou's. Ish is a great team guy, but Strong has way more upside.

I want to argue that A&M should be rated higher after Trayveon's big year and Ford being a solid 2 in the 1-2 punch, but I don't know who I would move down. SEC is stacked when it comes to RBs.

Auburn has Pettway. Johnson is pretty good if he's healthy. Who else do they have?

If you're talking about the entire depth chart, I don't see how you put anyone over Alabama.

I agree but I think that is why the article only went to two deep. It would get a little over the top if you went all the way to 4th and 5th string.

Then I think you would also have to take the #3 guy into consideration.

No, I think two is fine. You just have to take this article for what it is. At the moment these are the RBs that are going to get the most significant carries to start the year. Obviously injuries are going to happen and change this as the year progresses but most teams aren't throwing in a 3rd rb that is going to get significant carries.

Kelly should be great, looked like the best RB on the roster at certain times last year. No sure about the other guy though.

I liked Williams as a freshman, but he's a plodder and hasn't gotten any better. It's time for Brossette to get fully healthy and take the backup role.

Brossette IMO will surprise some people, he's shifty has great vision and is pretty damn tough. We do need to land a couple good ones this year and of course La. happens to be short on RBs for the first time in a decade. We will just have to raid TX, MS, FL, and GA. Maybe our new coach can go grab a couple Cali guys but that's not going to be easy. This whole cycle seems to be short on RBs. LSU will find their guys but they will need to really look hard to find the best we can get at.

Incoming stud RB Ty Chandler will likely get more carries than Fils-Aime imo
