i started to the other day when he said 'i have nothing against arkansas' but didn't get past the 1st page b/c i realized i didn't really care, he's far more embarrassing to lsu than to us. go hogs.

I can't, but what I can do is tell you that Arky is pretty damn good in all 3 sports year in and year out. a fricking top 10 program can't be built overnight. I would much rather have steady and reliable 3 sport programs than have a damn good basketball program, but shitty baseball and football program.
uh...hate to break it to you fella, but arkansas has NEVER won even a conference championship in football, much less a NC, or even a BCS bowl game as a member of the SEC. Furthermore, they had a couple good years here, that is it. Hell, Ole Miss had a couple good years also that resulted in the same bowl win. Get real with this. As for baseball, KY has a pretty darn good team, and many will say on the verge of exploding in the SEC and nationally with their baseball program. Basketball, it's not even close, and arky sux. Also, KY has been to several bowl games recently in football....possibly more than arky.

Baseball is nothing more than a tie breaker. Nationally it is about as relevant as gymnastics. Football and basketball are the high end billion dollar revenue producing sports.

Obvious fish is obvious and as much as it pains me to defend the hogs, stop being retarded.
In the time frame given, Arkansas has a NC in basketball and a runner up, multiple trips to the CWS and a couple SECW Championships and a BCS bowl appearance. If they are bottom tier, so is Kentucky.

See the bait and I'll take it. There are now 3 SEC teams with NCs in football since LSU last won theirs. So you would, by your logic, have to put all those teams ahead of LSU. Now we can move on to Kentucy which also dominates its sport much much more than LSU in football. So LSU is now #5 in the SEC. Should we keep going?

Yes, one good year where they crashed and burned towards the end = "exploding in the SEC and nationally"
No one was talking about them before the season began. It was an anomaly.

yeah, not too long ago i spent a few weeks watching the NC of gymnastics on ESPN...it was pretty darn entertaining. lmao (not sure if this will go over your head or not)

Even if a team wins 150 NC's in basketball that doesn't make them the better overall sports program...
I like how you talk about how kentucky has a good baseball team and say they are on the verge of exploding when they havent won an SEC title either, the same thing you were bashing us for. And no they haven't been to more bowl games.
I guess Duke is a better overall sports program than Stanford since they are dominant at basketball

not sure if being serious...if so, then either a.) problem with reading comprehension, b.) confused, c.) just another uneducated hog fan, d.) all of the above. I'll go with D. I'm really hoping you were just trying to be funny or acting dumb on purpose though. So with your logic, Auburn has a better program than Florida. Makes sense.

K....tell me again what year you won the SEC Titles in football and baseball?

I'll take Duke's basketball national championships over all of Stanford's accomplishments combined, and it's not a tough call.

Arkansas has never won even an SEC Championship in football, much less a BCS bowl game or NC.....no one is arguing they have a better football program. Baseball, arky has now gone to the CWS 3 times in the last 35 years....can say better than kentucky, but not by that great to offset the national following the KY basketball program has. Arky is not even close to that national prestige in any sport...and that is what separates Kentucky. Again, this is ranking nationally the SEC programs. we are arguing over possibly the 10th place team in the conference overall.

for basketball.
Based off champs alone?
UCLA
Kentucky
NC
Duke
UConn
Florida
Arkansas
Kansas
There are 8 of the big names of basketball. I can throw in 2-3 more if you like but I'm kinda torn between AZ, Maryland, or Syracuse.
the sad thing is that you are serious and you actually believe arky is bigger than kansas, syracuse and even arizona.
I guess i could say princeton is the king of college football right? That is about relevant as you ranking arky here.

Your criteria:
SEC Championships have no bearing on national success. Also, you're now saying this has more to do with prestige and following though I'm not sure how that got switched from your initial statement.
National success is in BCS bowls, Final Four appearances and CWS appearances. BCS bowls, Final Fours and CWS appearances as similar, with more validity to the BCS and FFs.
Arkansas: 1 BCS, 2 Final Fours(1 win) and 3 CWS
Kentucky: 0 BCS, 6 Final Fours(3 wins) and 0 CWS
Again, this is your criteria by saying best overall sports program. Arkansas has in the last 25 years show to be the better performer in 2 of the 3 sports, and in the sport Kentucky dominates, they also have a national championship. That isn't too bad. Again, I know you are just fishing in all of this, but to put Arkansas down in the level of Miss State and Ole Miss is laughable. I am not even going to comment that you have them below Vandy.
