was not baiting...I was pointing out what to me is a very relevant ranking of the SEC teams. Arkansas is at the VERY BEST #9, and at the worst #11...I don't even think hog fans can argue that....yet many on here are claiming to have one of the elite overall sports programs in the SEC.

Bad flame

At least your last one had effort

0/10 for this one

I took note of your attempt at an insult, and since you are a bottom feeder, I won't even point out your fail.

Dunno, in the middle somewhere. Your list is weird because you have USCe in the top tier, based on... What they did in one sport the last couple years?

Well, they have won 2 and possibly 3 national championships recently, and played for an SEC Championship recently and have had some pretty darn good basketball teams...yes, I have SC in the bottom of the top 8...along with Kentucky....at the very best, I don't even think an argument can be made for them to be higher than 9th..and that is stretching it.

again...just stating facts.....you cannot keep a straight face and make an argument that i'm wrong, so you resort to bad flame...

Come on man. They've never even made an elite 8 or final 4.

4 sweet 16 appearances, last one was in 1973.

I was just making a joke. In other words, leave all serious discussion out of this thread.

yes overall....LSU and Florida, with florida currently at #1 based upon recent success in both football and basketball....another championship by LSU this year though in football, and you got to put LSU ahead of Florida overall.

hey i'm no SC fan...but they have had some 2 and 3 seeds that didn't pan out...arkansas has not set the world on fire in basketball over the past decade plus...to say the least. I'd imagine SC has a better record during that timeframe. Football is a dead heat, and baseball is a landslide SC.

this thread is so broad that you won't be able to justify any of these teams. Before you flame this comment, MSU does belong in the bottom tier. Until you can prove which sport is more important than the other and how past and present success factors into these so called "tiers" than you should probably just ask to RA this thread yourself.

Yea, but Arkansas has had some high level success in basketball. USCe simply hasn't.

So basically if you're really good in one sport then you have a better overall sports program?

They wouldn't have been playing for that SEC championship if they were in the west...we've owned them in football recently...we've been to the SECCG 3 times to their 1

Arkansas- SECCG Appearances 3, BCS Bowls 1

SC- SECCG Appearances 1, BCS Bowls 0

By your own standards it appears that it may not be a dead heat.
