Let's see now.....Astro Turf, bench seating, concrete block shitters with piss troughs, concessions were popcorn and coke and a stadium dog, gravel lots, located on the wrong side of the tracks......
Sounds like pretty much every major football stadium in the 1970s. You ever been to some of the NFL stadiums from that era? I have and they are all like that....you are comparing Legion to the modern stadiums and of course it's not the same.

Is UAB going to play at Legion Field again, or are they getting a new stadium?

No, I am comparing Legion Field to every on campus stadium in the SEC in the 70s. They only stadium that I thought was in worse shape than LF, was Grant Field. It was at least on campus. LF couldn't compare to even Fulton County Stadium and its cookie cutter brothers of that era.

You're dumb.
But even if that were true, Bryant-Denny was the worst venue for college football games in all of America during the 70s and 80s.

In '58, LSU-14, Bama-0; Bryant's 1st yr. Also, part (don't remember which part) of Legion Field collapsed during the game as I recall.

Because they knew they did not have to dump any money into it because of LF. If you want to know how big a dump LF was, go look at it now . It hasn't changed much by any standards.
