I think Wright has put himself on the MLB watchlist for next season.

Don't think he proved himself to be drafted high enough though.

Like I've said, if mossberg is back, bianco isn't serious about winning. It's so obvious even to the casual fan that he sucks. My fiancé asked Saturday why he was coaching and she doesn't know shite about baseball

I think he could be picked in the top 15 rounds which isn't that bad. You don't see a whole helluva lot of guys that throw as hard as him as a lefty

Very true with him being a lefty. I've noticed Bianco seems to have one badass lefty every year.

Scott Berry is a decent coach....but I wouldn't want to replace Bianco with him. I like Bianco a lot as our head coach. He is very loyal to Ole Miss. He cares a lot about the university. I do believe he will finally get over that hump. Baseball is a funny sport. shite happens....and that it did for Ole Miss in the Supers. Ole Miss would have to be smoking crack to fire Bianco. We would be the laughing topic among the college baseball folks.

Preemie?

If Ole Miss offers Scott Berry, he is gone in a heartbeat. Better money, better facilities, better competition.

I dont want bianco gone. I just want him to hire some assistants who are on par with our program. Not a bunch of scub-arse Yes Men. Mossberg HAS to be gone....right? What a damn joke.

Hire a damn hitting coach who has an actual resume and lets get back to where we were.

If we do get David and Jake back we could be very special. Crouse, Goforth, and Wright would be one of the most complete starting rotations in the SEC and we would have Huber, Wahl, and Morgan in our bullpen. frickin sick pitching staff right there. We return almost all our postion players so our defense (our weakness this year) would be very much improved and we return 6 of our 9 hitters including 4 of our top 5. It could be special, but more than likely pank will be right and we'll just be mediocre, which would be an improvement.

Goforth, Wright and Crouse will all sign regardless of where they are drafted and will not be at Ole Miss next year. Jake Morgan is a 5th year senior and has no eligibility left unless he gets some type of hardship from the NCAA. He has indicated to pro scouts he has no desire to play professional baseball.

The Rebel rotation next year will likely consist of Wahl and possibly a couple of true freshmen...Josh Laxer and Hawtin Buchanan.

I have a friend who works for Bus Cook and he told me Sanquez Golson is gone. He claims he will be a first or second round pick and will never make it to Oxford.

When we had assistants worth a frick (2002-2005) our program was on a steady rise. Ever since it's been a steady decline. We should expect better out of Bianco and our program.

Mossberg should be coaching challenger league teeball.

Believe me or not, I know I am going Coonass but I can Guarantee that if Golson goes in the first two rounds he will sign. As will USM signees Mason Robbins and Connor Barron.

I'm not sure he is a SEC weekend starter as a true freshman. Buchanan has a better chance to crack the rotation than Laxer IMO. I have seen both pitch in HS.

I have a hard time believing that SG will go top 2 rounds bc he has been skippin workouts with teams lately, alot of ppl are sayin that he will obviously drop due to that.

But you're sayin he's goin top 2 rounds huh? Just wanna make sure I got this straight Al...

Yep. More than likely late in the first. Connor Barron from Sumrall could also go in the first. I'm gonna try and find the Baseball America article about MS HS players in the draft.

Berry would leave for the Ole Miss job, it is one of the premier jobs in the country. Top 5 attendance, great facilities, much better pay. Only a dumb frick wouldnt leave USM to go to Ole Miss or any other SEC job besides Kentucky.

I agree. There's no reason Ole Miss couldn't steal a coach from a decent Top 20 BCS school with poor support (eg UCLA, Baylor, NCState) or top mid major (Stetson, College of Charleston, Coastal Carolina). Ole Miss has the facilities and fan support that a lot of coaches would desire. Winning in front of 500 fans has to be disappointing to a lot of coaches.

Which is why Bianco needs to realize that he can't half-arse it. Yes, he "built" the program or whatever, but the expections are higher now, as they should be.
