Who the hell cares who picked him. You missed it 6 1/2 rounds

As I said earlier it was due to the Rays taking Mahtook. Different teams have different prospects. It's not like the NFL or NBA draft.

Look at Jacoby Jones last year he was a top 50overall talent who slipped big time due to his signability. Similarly to this year's Mr. Baseball, Mason Robbins who was expected to be a top 4 round pick. He still hasn't been drafted and looks to be heading to USM now.

The Red Sox, Cubs, and Rays all liked Golson. The Sox drafted him.

Speaking of Golson he is almost the same identical size as Batiste.

Looks like State will lose two incoming freshmen to the draft.

Woodruff maybe

Lindagrin will be at State.

Devin Jones is 50/50 to come back for his SR year.

Golsen is 5'11 and 185 who can bench 330, who runs a sub 4.4 and won the 6a 100 meter dash. I dont mind if they're under six feet if they run a 10.6 100m dash.

But pank said.....

FTR Im not saying you cant be a good DB under 6'0. Obviously you can, but we've had a lot more corners who are short and slow that suck than Marshay Greens. If he's as fast as Marshay then Im fine with him.

One player does not knock a player 7 rounds. Come on Bundy - just say "I was wrong". You can do it - never have since I have been reading you - but surely you can do it.

Golson will be at Ole Miss for 2 years or maybe 3. I don't think he gets the offer that he is wanting from the Sox.

That was the sixth time he's ran on a track the entire season... Practice and meets combined. The guy is going to be a stud in whatever sport he chooses. Personally I think he's got a better future in football, but the sky is the limit in baseball if he plays it year round with no other sports.

I hope so, but I dont know. He got drafted by the one team that could frick us in the 8th round. Boston throws sick money at kids to keep them from going to college

I was reading Chase's article on Rivals and he was describing that the offers Boston usually throws out within this particular round is much lower than what Golson is wanting. So who knows.

Boston offered a 10th rounder $750K last year. I hear that Golson wants a Million, so you guys should be good.

Yeah - this is my favorite from Bundy last night:

Golson will be drafted tonight In the late first round as a sandwich pick.
