I thought our D was more impressive than the O.

Him flying over the first down marker really adds a nice touch

You seriously look pathetic right now. No matter how you try to spin it, your team was dominated. LSU gave you several gifts and ran the ball down your throat.

95 yards, 13 plays, 12 straight runs. LSU told you what they were going to do and Ole Miss still couldn't stop it.

And up to that points y'all had a whopping 35 yards rushing in the second half.
This is the kind of thinking that I just love, and expect from Ole Miss fans.

I mean shite, if you take away about half the plays, we don't do near as well

No you did not dominate ole miss. u managed 10 points for all that 1950s style football. and before that rebel TD that would have ended the game at 14-0 was called back on a holding penalty, you arse was puckered, wasn't it? enjoy a huge win, you guys deserve it. but don't make it more than it was, both teams would have been fortunate to win that friggin war.

Could've been the other way too. We had multiple scoring opportunities we wasted. Two fourth downs, holding calls. That stuff usually balances out over the course of the game. The real domination was the LSU d embarrassing the OM O.

Our defense bowed up when it mattered outside of that one drive.

You mean that 13 play 95 yard drive with 12 straight runs and your best D ever couldn't stop?

it wasn't our best defense on the field when lsu pushed our shite in at the end. the 2 Nkemdiches and cody prewitt weren't on the field for that, and we couldn't stop yall. hats off to lsu for proving that 1950s power football can still win...but I am proud of our defense for fighting u bastards to the bitter end.

Yeah difference is LSU's missed opportunities were self inflicted/bad luck and Ole Miss missed opportunities were due to being a bad team.

As unbiased as possible-
I'll give Ole Miss credit on the fumble by Magee. That was a great strip by Prewitt. The INT weren't lucky. It was a combination of bad QB play and a good OM secondary.

Our first drive, the refs blew an inadvertent whistle and missed a PI forcing a FG that we shanked. Which is shitty luck all around. The Fournette fumble into the endzone was even worse luck. We dropped two easy INT, one which led to the only points for you. Those missed opportunities were all bad luck or an easy play that's normally made.

Your missed opportunities as you states were 2 4th down calls and a holding penalty. The first fourth down I guess I'll give you. Bo has pressure in his face and had to rush his throw. Would've been a tough throw to make but it's doable. Second fourth down our defense was just more prepared than your offense for the sneak attack. And the holding call for that TD was a blatant hold that paved the way for the TD. I guess if you wanna consider it bad luck that the refs couldn't miss an easy call to get you points, then you can.

Spin it whatever way you want. We kicked your arse. Score was closer than the actual game. Mississippi gonna Mississippi

Y'all scored 10 fricking points. Hardly seems as if our defense sucks and actually did there job, unlike the offense.

There was more. We dropped a walk in pick six. Had a bullshite unsportsmanlike on Quez. We missed getting on another fumble early in the third.

That's not spinning. I've said all day that your defense beat us straight up. But let's not act like we didn't have bad breaks too. Like I said they balanced out.

I'll give you the pick six, forgot about that play. We also missed getting in on a fumble. Breaks went both ways. I think more went your way but regardless. Our defense played lights out. I really don't see how some of you can defend your defense. It didn't cost you the game, but it still got beat pretty badly. It says a lot when you can't stop the run, when you don't have to worry about the pass at all

It's amazing how fans of opposing teams can watch the same game and come away with totally different takes.
How about an unbiased take? The game could have easily been a 20 pt win for LSU but turnovers happen and usually the defense is responsible for creating them. LSU gifted the game to Ole Miss but because OM was unable to create any offense allowed LSU to hang around and wear down the defense on that long drive. Hold a team to 10 pts and you ought to win the game. OK - I am done. Carry on.......

Leading up to this game all we were told on here was how great Ole Miss defense was, and how we wouldn't be able to run on you.

Most OM fans really believed they had a great defense.
I talked to an OM fan earlier in the week and he asked me what would LSU do to try to move the ball.

I told him we would line up and run it right at them all game.
We had a civil discussion, but I could tell he didn't think we would have much success.

I knew LSU would move the ball on the ground to some degree. But you could tell they were shocked at how physical our O-line and RB's were. LF7 absolutely demolished D Kimdouchey. He looked like he had just got run over by a truck after that hit.
