hello there henry....how the hell are you man? I was thinking about bumping some threads where you were talking all your garbage about how lsu would not be able to move the ball against the best defense in the country....no chance to win....etc......but then I thought about it, and it's just Ole Miss.....seriously....

If our offense could move the ball 25 fricking yards that game would have been put away in the 3rd quarter when y'all shanked that punt.

and if LSU gets that PI call and doesn't fumble twice in the first half (one on the 3 yard line) and miss 2 wide open INT opportunities, then OM never gets with 14 points

Exactly his point. The IF game is stupid. Both defenses played great the entire game. It wasn't won by offense.

Really? If our kicker doesn't miss a 29 yard chip shot. If we don't fumble ON THE THREE yard line

hate to play the if game, but the reality is we shouldn't have had to miss the 29 yard field goal...if the refs don't blow the call with fournette on the first drive.....great drive that would have given lsu 7-0 lead....second drive where fournette fumbles on the 1 yard line should have given LSU 14-0 lead....would have never been a game really....even the other fumble by magee, LSU was driving into Ole Miss territory.......Ole Miss fans won't admit it, because we all know how delusional they are, but the truth is that this game was as close as it possibly could have been for Ole Miss.....LSU should have won the game 24-7......but.....it is a W and LSU moves on to play a real top 5 team in two weeks.

this is far from true, unless you think a team giving up 265 yards rushing and over 400 total to a team with zero offense (according to you before the game)...let alone going against the BEST defense in the nation....ok...you guys keep throwing up 10 points.....the if game is a tricky thing...but you guys, if being honest, know that you were very lucky to be in the game at all......Fournette hadn't fumbled all year I don't think.....fumbles on 1.....not like around midfield........and then the drive before where the ref screws up.....you guys and your moral victories..........you finish 9-3....just like I predicted a few weeks ago.

that was the point I was making

frick yea it was. LSU's run game is more of a story than the defense IMO. That was supposed to be this big mismatch.

shhhhhh....they are going through the moral victory phase right now....i.e., 10 points. They refuse to acknowledge they were extremely lucky LSU didn't put up at least 24.

10 points and 4 turnovers isn't exactly stellar offense.

And y'all weren't lucky to not give up at least 2-3 more touchdowns with the field position y'all gave us?

not worth my time honestly....just pointing out you were acting stupid in the threads leading up to the game....talking about how great your D was, how sorry our O was....etc....the arrogance was far too strong and typical of Ole Miss fans....having won in 50 plus years and counting...yet still talking shite....karma is a tough thing to overcome. I tried to tell you that you had played a garbage schedule outside of bama, and even they are bad on the road, so far, this year.....you just didn't want to listen......

In all honesty, this wasn't one of the greatest wins ever for LSU....at the end of the day, it was still Ole Miss.....but that being said, it was one of my most satisfying wins ever....given the unbelievable amount of arrogance from Ole Miss fans. It just isn't this message board. IRL they were the same way....living here in Jackson has been rough....especially for my kids....ha

You bitch about arrogance then drop this little gem.

And it only takes one period. One.

how were we lucky that we stopped y'all cold when you got the good field position? Seriously...name the specific plays we were lucky on? I can name two plays specifically that you were very fortunate on....one is the ref blowing the call with fournette....the second was the fumble at the 1 by fournette....that's 14 points on the first two drives.....you weren't stopping us on those drives.....again, you claim to have the best defense in the nation, and you also claim LSU had one of the worst offenses in the nation.....how is giving up 400+ yards and 265 rushing considered great defense?

what's not true about it....Ole Miss hasn't won anything in over 50 years....it wasn't like two powers from the SEC colliding...that'll happen in two weeks.

And yet your fans rushed the field. That's an awful lot of excitement over a whole lot of nothing.

Your offense did nothing - nothing at all - in the 2nd half until that final TD drive. All those minutes count, too.

We were able to move the ball against a top ranked defense. Given what we have this year for offense, it was a big accomplishment. I don't want to get into the "if this, if that" game. The mistakes we made (fumbles, interceptions, missed interceptions) could have cost us the game. But the fact that we were moving the ball well and in scoring position gives us hope going forward.

I'd say an awful lot of excitement over a whole lot of nothing would be more along the lines of of fans were to rush the field in a game they lost. Know what I'm saying?
