some HORRIFIC competition therefore they are able to spread the ball around more.. they are dominating inferior teams.. and no need for Chubb..

where as LSU is dominating good teams, they have had some penalties that make the games closer and the need for Fournette in the game is more dependent to secure the win..

Quit exaggerating.

He'll have 125 by halftime. Here's the thing with him: he's getting better at an alarming rate. By the time we play the ags, he'll have played 7 more games. If we're still playing for something, y'all will get a very healthy dose of Fournette.

Even with more carries his YPC is still more, which is amazing. Amazing how you and the leg humpers don't understand simple football concepts

Yall keep blabbering about how he had more carries blah blah blah. Well the fact that he has more carries and less share of the work load and passing stats and still has more YPC is a huuuuuuge plus for LF

Ypc is so close, it's splitting hairs.

It's the nature of the games and the opponents. First two games against SEC West teams we'd lost to last year, one a road game. Followed up by a road game against an extremely motivated 3-0 team.

Like others have said, Les coaches to secure the victory. You want a great season, you have to beat Auburn and Miss St; we lost our chance at a cupcake opener so we opened on the road at State, and we thought Auburn was gonna be good. So yes, you feed Fournette the rock until the game is safe.

Syracuse was an ambush game, and despite the fact that we never trailed, we were under the gun the entire game. Again, you have Fournette at your disposal, you use him.

Against McNeese he likely gets 10 touches, and the other backs would have gotten valuable experience (which would have paid off vs Syracuse IMO). Expect to see that the next two games; we have to get the rest of the team ready.

Ole Miss just learned how good Vandys defense is. The difference in schedule is negligible at best. I know Auburn and Mississippi State are sexier names but neither are defensive powerhouses (Auburn shouldn't even be mentioned in the same sentence)

Considering Chubb has a lighter workload and faaaaaaaaaaar superior passing stats it is a huge knock on him that LF still has a higher YPC. Chubb is not on Fournette's level this year, just like LF wasn't on Chubbs last year

but one of these games he's going to try that and the defender is going to hang on and he's going to seperate bones in his ankle or frick up the ligaments.

You are eluding to the fact of not IF but WHEN.

Keep hoping

Last year the drop off between LF and the other backs getting carries wasn't as big. We had 2 experienced Seniors. This year LF7 is even better, and giving anyone else the ball seems like a waste of a carry.

I think Sony Michel looks good enough to be worth giving carries to instead of Chubb. I don't think the drop off is as severe between Chubb and Michel and LF7 and say Darren Williams.

Also We haven't played our ULM, Southerns of the schedule yet. Thats a great play to save carries and rest a guy. I doubt LF7 gets 23 carries vs Eastern Michigan.,a nd i doubt Chubb only gets 15 carries vs alabama.

I mean he just isn't. Nothing shows (stats, eye test etc.) that Chubb is on LF7's level this year. Chubb is still a hell of a player

A lot of this has to do with Harris.

In 2013 Hill was an animal, but we also had Mett, OBJ, and Landry.

Last year, LF7 came on strong late in the season. I think Miles is realizing that LF7 is truly a once in a life time type back for the program.

20-30 carries isn't all that much for these types of backs.

I would imagine it would be less if our passing game was further along. It will get there.
