So what gives here? Is Miles changing his entire philosophy to give LF more carries to try to win him a heisman, or does he not believe enough in the backups to give them more carries?

This is ignorant.

Fournette is a home run threat every time he touches the ball. He is leading the team in rushing because he is a rarity. It's not about getting a heisman.. Les has shut down Fournette late in games.

Typically LSU rotates backs more, but Fournette is a superstar that Miles wants to use because he can handle the load.

It's absolutely not about awards. Miles could have let Fournette break the LSU single game rushing record the past two games and he didn't.

Also, you are dumb to compare the two's carries,

because Georgia has faced some HORRIFIC competition therefore they are able to spread the ball around more.. they are dominating inferior teams.. and no need for Chubb..

where as LSU is dominating good teams, they have had some penalties that make the games closer and the need for Fournette in the game is more dependent to secure the win..

Not trying to troll here, Fournette is amazing.

However going back to his senior year of HS, Adrian Peterson has finished a HS, college or pro season relatively healthy only three times. He is a very violent runner who seeks out contact and plays the game a lot like Fournette.

Its just rare that his running style leads to a full schedule of healthy starts. For instance, every game he has violently ripped himself out of an ankle tackle with sheer leg strength at least once. Its incredibly impressive, but one of these games he's going to try that and the defender is going to hang on and he's going to seperate bones in his ankle or frick up the ligaments.

It's a position with guys constantly getting hit hard. People who make careers out running the ball more often than not deal with being injured at some point and some more than others. It's just a matter of time before something happens not saying it will be season ending or anything. It's the nature of the game they play people get hurt.

Preferably before our date with A&M.

Hey, no shame in the game, I was disappointed when Teblow was able to play against us that time we thought he wouldnt.

A complement to a beast of a player.

Even with more carries his YPC is still more, which is amazing. Amazing how you and the leg humpers don't understand simple football concepts

LSU hasn't had the cupcake game luxury yet

I sincerely hope he doesn't play a lot next Saturday

Syracuse with a 5th strong walk-on is pretty close to a cupcake.

I'm confident enough to admit when I'm wrong. I didn't originally see the "and" part.

Oopsies! My bad.

What, dude quit letting your purple and gold glasses color everything, it's a legit concern, nobody is hope the kid gets hurt you moron. Jeeze this place is getting terrible. LF runs with violence and isn't afraid to lower his shoulder and run people over and while that makes him an awesome running back it also opens him up to getting nicked up, that's all he said in that post. Good luck to your team and players the rest of the way
