Tennessee homer???

I've read just about every article that he's written. I'm not even close to being the only one who thinks he is.

Im not sure about the East but the SEC West is shaping up to be a two-horse race. I never thought Id see the day when Saban would get out recruited by his in-state rival but it appears to be happening. Chizik is lighting it up with this class.

I think the West will have LSU at just a high of level as Auburn and Alabama.

As great as a coach as Saban is, I see him winning one more but two, no.

Coaching change at LSU: Either Les Miles is going to get out while he can, or he’s going to be forced out sometime in the next two or three years.

Well any dumbass can see that coming except our AD.

I am impressed by Auburn's class, but "out-recruiting" Saban? Saban still has a top 5 class (ranked ahead of Auburn at that), and he doesn't have the playing time that Chizik has to offer.

Miles’ first three seasons on the Bayou set the bar so high that he won’t be able to get away with too many more four- and five-loss seasons. The 2010 season is critical for him if he’s going to get back into good graces with the LSU faithful. He lost a lot of support this season, especially with how poorly the offense performed.

Wow, what mindboggling analysis! Never would have figured this out without Chris Low.

Chizik and his staff is doing a great job in recruiting. However, they are not outrecruiting Saban and his staff. Chizik has alot of holes to fill, while Saban is continuing to build depth. We are also ranked ahead of AU and we have 6 of the top 10 in-state kids.

All the Auburn and UT fans talking shite about SC is very

the UT fans have been doing it since we beat them in '05 and the Auburn fans have doing it since this whole recruit transfer thing went down. For teams that have done historically well.. they sure do give a lot of credit to SC for going out of their way to talk shite.

its like that thread just started about the 'Bama fan who just tried to poke holes through Auburn's recruiting success. Auburn fans jump on that opportunity to point out that 'Bama fan wouldn't post that unless deep down he is concerned about Auburn's recruiting. People forget we were an inch away from winning the East in '05. All it takes is to have 1 or 2 lucky bounces.

also it was a preview for an entire decade. Lord knows how much can change in 10 years.

Lowe is a huge fricking arse clown. He is a big time bammer homer. Hates Tenn and does not care much for AU. I think his more recent dislike of LSU is just because LSU does not like Bama.

We’ve spent so much time looking back this week. Why not look ahead?

The SEC won five national championships last decade. Any reason to believe that dominance won’t continue?

One thing we’ve come to know about the SEC is that change is inevitable. And when the winds of change blow through this conference, they blow fast and often times without warning.

Here are 10 things to watch for next decade in the SEC:

1. At least two more national titles for Alabama: Repeating might be tough, but Nick Saban will add to Alabama’s already crowded trophy case next decade. You can count on that. Saban’s as close as it gets to a guarantee in college football. He recruits like a madman. Aubren recruits like Jerry diNardo. He’s just as good at developing players. He runs his program like a Fortune 500 company, Aubren runs their program like a petting farm, and the only thing he thinks about is the next challenge and what it takes to get the smell out of his clothes after playing at jerdan-har there.

2. Crowds at Saban’s statue: Alabama athletic director Mal Moore has already said they plan to construct a statue of Saban to go along with the Crimson Tide’s other national championship-winning coaches at the Walk of Champions. Bear Bryant’s statue will continue to draw the largest crowds. But as the titles mount next decade at the Capstone, look for the crowds of aubren football fans gathered around Saban’s statue to give the Bear’s statue a run for its money.

If South Carolina ever wins the East, it means Florida is in a serious rebuilding year. South Carolina is a joke. How many coaching legends have to ruin their reputation before the fan base accepts that?

South Carolina is no more a joke than Tennessee lately. Tennessee might have actually pulled ahead in "HAHA LOOK AT THEM THEY SUCK" points.

So you're 3-2 vs this legend at a "joke" school about to go 3-3 after next season and can't get a legit coach to come coach for your team even if it is a significant raise from their current jobs.... so that makes UT what? a college of history majors?

And thats all it takes.. UF to be in a rebuilding year, a "down" year for their standards. Just like in '05. For standards all 3 of UT, UGA, and UF will be down. Hence Lowe's prediction.

If we really are such a joke UT fans sure do go out of their way to be talking crap about SC. Bama, UF, or even UGA fans don't talk crap about SC. and the UGA ones who do are just cause their fans interact with SC fans more which = more trash talking. Point being those teams, LSU included, don't talk shite about SC cause they dont feel threatened and hate thinking SCs program is now to their leve.

I'm a Tennessee fan and I don't talk crap about S.Carolina because their really is no need to. They are not our rival and I have never felt threatened by them. I know we had down years in 2005, 2008 and 2009 but that doesn't put us on the same level as S.Carolina. I mean we did play in the SECCG in 07'. The Gamecocks have only one 9 win season since 1984 and we are 22-4 against them all-time. IMO S.Carolina has alot of ground to make up if they want to be considered on the same level as Tennessee.

Well said. It amazes me how they think they are on the same level. UT's program at its worst is better than South Carolina's program at its best. Soon Spurrier will retire to golf, and the fans will have to deal with the sad realization sooner or later. Or maybe they'll try to go after Bobby Bowden.
