Face the reality of what? That you have mental issues and are infatuated with the Vols or that the Vols aren't good right now?

I think you're correct with regard to Charlie. I think he's got an uphill climb recruiting in Texas for just that reason among other things not the least of which is A&M's membership in the SEC.
With regard to Tennessee, they've got to show serious improvement this year or Jones' schtick is going go get old in a hurry.
Most UT fans, IMHO, will lose patience with Jones unless they see enough effort and enthusiasm on the field to generate some excitement. I think the SCAR upset helped Jones tremendously in the eyes of the fans last year. If he takes a backwards step this year it could be fatal because the enthusiasm and confidence will suffer as will recruiting.
UT fans have been humbled, I get that. But they will not be patient for long if they don't see all-out effort each and every week this coming season.
