Damn I'll be glad when it means something to beat Tennessee again.

As it did for Bryant at Alabama. But I also said recent.

Johnny coached into the 90s. I know Bama fans remember him from the photo with Bear but Coach Majors is wayyyyy more recent than Bryant. But again, the situation we're in is very, very, different than that which most coaches face.

Dooley didn't recruit a single lineman an entire cycle. Not one. And it goes a lot deeper than that. Expecting 2 year boom in these circumstances is expecting a miracle. I'd love to see it but 6-6 is the goal and a freaking tough one at that given the circumstances. 2015, OTOH, expectations are enormous.

And Bryant coached into the 80s. What's your point? I said recent rebuilding jobs. Majors was in his third decade at Tennessee in 1992. He certainly wasn't rebuilding the program.

If UT could find a stud qb they could be dangerous. I love the offense the Butch runs but he's got the get some better talent in there. The D will probably be the downfall of them however.

Yep. But Cam is out of eligibility. And they are far inferior to what Auburn had after tubbs.

They blew it for good on 12-7-12 after fricking someone who seriously wanted to be here

Ok, you have officially went full tard. Dooley is the worst coach in the history of the SEC. High school coaches didn't like him and he was an a-hole to everyone in and around the program

24 wins in the 3 year period would definitely be their ceiling.

I'd put them closer to 19-20 wins.

Hey fricker,

You and your sunshine pumpers are getting owned by the ranters. Of course you got kicked out of the 8th Maxim since they finally got sick and tired of your unrealistic bullshite so you decided to bring it here. You have nobody to hide behind here so you and your cronies are going to get raped if you don't stay in your little sub-forum.

This shrinking fanbase HATES the truth and reality!

6-6 is not going to happen under Coach bullshite; he simply doesn't belong here!

Stop with the excuses Dooley didn't do this, Dooley didn't do that bullshite because that can be overcome with good coaching and player development.

Yeah, and you get a bullshitting, arse-kissing yessman whore who preaches this family bullshite which is simply not true to who really is. Colorado, Kentucky and Purdue didn't want his arse because they saw who CBS really was-a fraud and a con man! Peyton really didn't want his arse here and that speak volumes! He left Cincinnati in a classless way. This guy has no originality and is a Brian Kelly wannabe. Just ask Alabama what they did to the real Brian Kelly. Makes claims which is simply not true.

He was brought along because Bohn (after getting owned by Bowden and Saban in his previous stops) and Booger didn't see him as a threat, was the right person to spearhead the destruction of the football program so it would never be a force again, and is a perfect lapdog.

Reach as much as you can because you, your fricking leader and what is left of the fanbase are gonna get squashed on the open board.

The fans (long-time fans included) that were outraged and disgusted of what happened on 12-7-2012 left the fanbase and have no plans to comeback unless a full-fledged housecleaning takes place and replaced by those who bleed full orange. If Fulmer has to be AD, THEN BE IT!!!

I'm sorry but the SEC has figured to stop an offense like this.

Botch is no Urban or Tressel so he is going to fail. His arse should have really went home to Wisconsin.

The better players excuse can take you so far because it is all about player development and coaching

Getting UGA rejects would result in a downfall. They were so bad that Richt had to clean house on the defensive side of the ball.

They are simply not going to get it. They are simply throwing everything with the hope it sticks. They are desperate to stay relevant and it reeks attention.

This run of dominance by Alabama may be the last we see for a long time. Every program in the conference is pouring money into their football team. We will probably see parity in football just like baseball. 6-2/5-3 SEC records could be the norm for SEC champions during the regular season. As for tenn, I could see
5-7
6-6
7-5
Sorry Tennessee fans but butch is all show and no go. He'd be an awesome position coach and recruiter though. Maybe we can pick him up after Y'all dump him.
