Better wins, better RPI, no bad losses, etc.
You do have a better resume overall, but that's not at all what power rankings are. I think Ole Miss is the second best team in the conference right now.

This Ole Miss team is different than any team we've had under Kennedy. They are actually improving throughout the year. Most of his teams start hot then fold during SEC play. This team started slow but still picked up a few solid wins non-confrence and is playing really good basketball right now.

If we get killed in the tadpad, there is simply no way we could proclaim to be better than Ole Miss.
