Strangely enough most folks look at the entire season and not just one game. Crazy, I know.

We've won 5 of our last 6 and are safely in the tournament. It's not like it was a fluke or anything.

Latest projections have us as a 9-10 seed. That's "On the bubble"?

Hoping for an at large 10 seed with 8 games left is firmly on the bubble.

I consider on the bubble being in the last 8 in category. I don't believe we're close to that.

Lsu was a 9 seed last week. Would you say they're on the bubble?

They had two pretty bad losses to help them get there.

Correct, and there's still a month left in the season. If Ole Miss is projected as a 10 seed right now they don't have a lot of room for error. Lose at State and they're out. That's what it means to be on the bubble.

LSU has some really bad losses. I'd put them on after losing to auburn, state, and mizzou. Tournament teams should at the very least best two out of those three.

One loss wouldn't put us out.

Didn't say it would. You can't afford another bad loss after Charleston Southern, TCU, and Western Kentucky.

Four bad losses would put you out.

I'm one of the bigger supporters of Rebel basketball on this board and fully aware of the shortcomings we've had in Humphrey Coliseum. I just don't think this is one of those years we go in there and look completely befuddled. That being said, we go to Starkville after two critical games - @Florida, vs. Arkansas while they've got two winnable games vs. Alabama and @Mizzou. So this game is sandwiched in an awkward spot for Ole Miss.

It means absolutely nothing in this rivalry, but they are such a shitty basketball team.

Y'all will probably be a 9 or a 10 in the next bracketology. That's on the bubble, because 2 bad losses puts you on the outside looking in. Y'all are playing great in conference and if it's just conference rankings I think y'all deserve to be 2nd, but if it's the whole season no question Arkansas deserves that.

I know no one likes to hear "what if's" and hypothetical bullshite, but take away Charleston Southern/WKU/TCU losses(all are teams that we would currently beat by double digits), and Ole Miss is sitting at 19-4 and probably in the 4-5 seed range.

I completely agree with you. Unfortunately for y'all, y'all did happen to lose to those teams. Non-conference play matters and losing to bad teams really hurts your RPI and resume.

Oh, there's no doubt. They've played their way back in to it and in the drivers seat as far as making the tournament. Hopefully there's no collapse
