Where are the potential 5 losses? I am asking this seriously. I am not talking about upsets but games that should be circled as potential losses. The two games I circle are @Arizona and @Stanford. UCLA and @UW would be the next two but they have a puncher's shot. I guess you could put Oregon State there as well.
Helfrich will not be canned for losing 2 games. However, Duck fans will question whether he was the right hire.

Auburn fan. They're just tired of losing to LSU. The last time they beat LSU without any professional athletes was 2006.

Phil Steele is a joke. Their is a myth that his mag is the most accurate and it's utter bullshite. Taking the last 7 years Phil Steele is the 5th most accurate mag. Oh but he'll tell you 50 times , in the first 10 pages alone, how he picked LSU as a dark horse in 2003.

I think UCLA will have more than a puncher's chance. I actually think might end up winning the Pac 12 South.

I'll take it, I'd rather have the Music City than the Liberty though.

Never in a million years. That's the season opener in Reliant in Houston next year. That match up WILL NOT HAPPEN.

I think Oregon State, Arizona, Washington, UCLA, and possibly Cal (I'm high on Dykes) could beat Oregon on any given day. There is also a potential Pac12 title game to worry about. Not saying they lose that many but I wouldn't be surprised with 2 or 3 losses either. I'd think that even if CK was still HC.

The Pac - 12 South will be interesting for sure. There is a lot of parity. I like Zona but you really could go with Zona, ASU, USC or UCLA and no one could really call you crazy. Zona might actually be the craziest but it's a gut thing. They have their top 29 returning tacklers (read that again and let it settle in), a lot of starts returning from the oline that was probably the best in the South last year, and Ka'Deem Carey. The 3-3-5 stack in it's second year with everyone returning and some redshirts making waves has me very concerned about going to one of the rowdiest stadiums in the Pac.
If Oregon loses to UCLA at home, I'd call it an upset. That is not a game that any Duck fan would accept losing.

Washington and UCLA have to prove that experience will make their olines better. I don't know if you follow Pac - 12 recruiting but UCLA and Washington recruited very poorly on the oline. UCLA has done well the last two cycles but that won't mean anything this year. UW's oline is a serious liability to that team and until I see it on the field - experience is just lipstick on a pig to me. It is seriously an FCS level oline. Both UCLA and UW were embarrassingly bad in the bowl season. Baylor and BSU looked like they had elite dlines.
Cal - just don't even go there. They return some of the fewest oline starts in the country and their front seven is adapting to a new scheme (the are built for a 3-4 and are going to a 4-3). All in all, they will struggle.

I'm surprised with Sarkisian's offensive background, the OLine has been bad for UW. This is a guy that was around some great OLinemen while at USC.
UCLA, Mora still needs to recruit, so he's got some time.

Sark inherited an 0-12 team. In my opinion, the jury is still out on how far he can take UW.
