I thinking he's right on Auburn, they're going to surprise some people this year IMO. I don't see it for Arky though

He's wrong about SCAR every year so ... frick Phil Steele. What he's done is simply do the obvious safe bet thing with Bama, then backed-in all of his preseason predictions with UGA, UF and aTm ... then filled-in holes with LSU and SCAR. It's a WAGged jumble frick of a guess on his part and IMHO is way-off.

LSU will finish above aTm.

SCAR and UF will both finish above UGA (because UGA simply lost too much on defense and their schedule is tougher this season).

At the same time, looking at his B1G picks and assumed order of finish, he's got their placements all wrong as well. OSUe will not go undefeated this season and will probably not win the B1G imho. Wisconsin will most definitely not finish ahead of Michigan - probably not ahead of Michigan State either.

Yeah, I feel you there. I'm Just glad that abortion of a 2011 season ended with a W for us, but that game wasn't very good football

I can see them going 6-6. They have a few pivotal games that could go either way

Either way, I don't see them being like the shitshow they were last year. On another thread, I thought 5-7, but I could see 7-5 as well.

SHOULD USCe beat UF and Georgia? Probably. I say they split and then do the ususal USCe thing and drop a couple they shouldn't a la Kentucky and Auburn recently.
Spurrier has built a fine program but until they step up and win against good teams consistently and blow the obvious win every year Steele is right on with his prediction. As Gene used to say "You gotta beat somebody who's beat somebody and not lose to someone who hasn't".

I can also Mizzou back in a bowl this year but with a 6-6 record.

I didn't think it was possible for an SEC team to play in one of those early bowl games.
