Finebaum cann't talk bout last year's NCG without commenting at some point that bama was only 1 second away from winning the game. He wants nothing to do with Clemson, too much of a threat to his homeboy Nicky.

I agree that it would be bad for college football, but I disagree that Clemson is in the same realm as Bama this season. Auburn’s offense was absolutely terrible against Clemson and Clemson only won 14-6. Their defense looked good but no one came away from that game talking about their defense. Everyone was critical of Gus’s inept play calling and o line performance. I’d say Oklahoma, Georgia, and even Auburn in a rematch could beat Clemson right now. I don’t think anyone can touch Bama at this point.

I don't normally post on an SEC forum but you obviously didn't watch the AU Clemson game. As a refresher: 11 sacks and complet
Defensive domination by Clemson. Come on back if you want more of the same Auburn.

Well, a UA loss would certainly be bad for Clemson.

Just look what the REC did to hapless Ole Miss and the good Rev. Freeze for having the audacity to beat them twice in a row in what proved to be meaningless games.

Yup. Big 10 = So overrated this year.

Big 10 = so overrated last year and the year before. Any conference that gets shutout in the CFP in consecutive years should be banned from future consideration.
