Lost bigger pieces then Connor Shaw?

Three 11 win seasons, who was your starting QB during all of it? Connor Shaw. Hell he had to come in a save you from Garcia.

Lattimore missed a lot of 2012. Ellington has been your leading receiver for the last two years, that's a pretty big loss. Jeffrey was a great talent but 49 for 762 is hardly irreplaceable.

Also why are you talking about guys like Sidney Rice? That was like 8 years ago, when y'all were terrible.

I think UGA is the favorite to win the east, I wouldn't call them overrated, even though I think they lose at least 2 games.

USC is the most overrated team in the SEC. Lost Connor Shaw, Ellington, 3/4 of their DLine, both CB's, and somehow they're "better" this year and will win the east, when they didn't last year? Not buying it.

3. Tennessee-I know no one is expecting much out of Tennessee. Well I'm here to tell you...expect less. Tennessee is going to suck monkey balls. They suck nearly everywhere...a couple of decent running backs...which doesn't matter at all with what amounts to a conference USA 2nd string OL trying to open holes for them. Decent WR's which also doesn't matter at all because Worley will be, by far, the worst starting QB in the SEC...and he will get pulled for someone worse mid-season. All new DL when the old one wasn't very good to begin with. Will be so bad that the recruiting class will start jumping ship in droves out of embarrassment.

I don't think you know what overrated means.

Well who was your starting qb in the SECCG is he coming back? Who are your recievers? We got Roland, Byrd, and Jones 4-5 on the o-line all our rbs returning and your telling me we not going to be good because shaw. Also Jeffery did a lot more than 49 for 762. Secondly how can you say ellington was a pretty big loss and then when he had comparable numbers to Jeffery's worse receiving season at Carolina??? Like I said we've lost bigger pieces shaw was 25-5 as a starter I don't see that big of a drop off between he and whoever the next starting qb is at Carolina I know my team a lot better than you do

It's a bigger loss because you don't have Connor Shaw scrambling for over 500 yards this year and making plays. You now have a pocket QB who requires his WR's get open quickly because he's not a duel threat kind of guy. 25-5 as a starter, not a big deal he says,

You USCjr fans are gulping that kool aid pretty hard

Dylan Thompson is actually the one reason I think A&M has a small chance in the opener.

You kinda do need to be rated to even be considered overrated.

Outside of Dylan Thompson's 2012 Clemson game, where he looked like John Elway, he has been mediocre at worst, and inconsistent at best.

Pointing out facts about Dylan Thompson isn't allowed apparently. Anyone can step in and replace a 25-5 QB who managed to win games on his own.

I agree. I've been shot calling an Aggie win all off-season because of Thompford.

And everyone severely underestimating Aggie.

I think aTm hits the ground at full offensive gallop in the opener, so we'll see if Thompford's up to it.

And this media perception right there of Thompson only being a pocket passer is going to be the undoing of a whole bunch of teams. I won't sit here and tell anybody Thompson is as good of a scrambler as shaw but he doesn't exactly have stone legs. He doesn't have to be a duel threat because he's a better passer. That's why shaw scrambled so much. Many times shaw was in a hurry to just scramble when there were wideouts open. Anyway it doesn't matter who we start cause mizzou ain't gonna beat us anyway so who our qb is going to be should be of no importance to you

You never answered my question how is mizzou goin g to make out with James Franklin not returning didn't you guys lose players???

Win games on his own??? Shaw had games where he didn't even throw for a 150yds and we managed to win like I said I know my team a lot better than you do

There were a lot of Mizzou fans who wanted Mauk to start over Franklin last year, especially after he went 3-1 filling in for him during the hardest stretch of the season. Mauk played a series in almost every meaningful game last year, and generally did very well. I don't think there's a better QB in the East this year, and that's a popular opinion among a lot of the media.
