That's a pretty big question mark though, isn't it? Luckily, outside Auburn, that's pretty much everyone's question mark in the SEC this season.

In our game last year, I remember thinking that if Tyler Campbell doesn't shank a punt in the Auburn endzone, we win.

I remember thinking if we didn't give Ole Miss two gift turnovers in the fourth we could have got some reps for the young guys.

UGA-I don't think UGA will be bad but your QB situation is no good...which marginalizes a serious strength (one hell of a WR corps) and your OL is very questionable which marginalizes another serious strength (RB). I may end up eating my words here because you never really know who is going to step up...but I think they finish 3rd behind USC and UF in the East. Maybe even 4th behind Mizzou.

Masons 2 starts were better then Mauk's and Thompson's

Richt rarely has a bad QB and with the offense that surrounds him, Mason doesn't need to be great

I think Mizzou has another good year, perhaps not win the East good, but good, and maybe people will start to see that Pinkel can coach.

He does seem to do more with less....less meaning he gets lower rated players and turns them into players.

I agree with all but Arkansas and Florida. Arkansas won't do well enough to consider tem underrated, they wil finish last in the west and accurately rated.

Florida because the last 2 weeks everyone has gotten a sudden surge of confidence Florida is a surprise team. So while I think they're much better than last year idk that id call them "underrated".

I have a lot of bookmarks, I'm just hoping I finally get to bump one. Deleting bookmarks after a loss is the saddest thing a person can do on the Rant.

I would LOVE to bookmark a few posts/threads. My problem is I wouldn't be able to remember what they all were about and would have to go through every one of them so I could bump one. Then I would get distracted reading through all the threads and forget what I was originally looking for.

I don't get anybody's hype except for maybe Auburn's. Everybody else has problems except for MSU, but I just think their ceiling is 9 regular season wins. It's pretty much wide open. Each SEC division winner could have 2-3 losses going into the championship. We all need to pump the brakes on getting to the playoffs.

Even if any of us are a 2 lose conference champ and possibly still a legit top 4 team, I don't know how the committee will play it.

THIS is closer to the truth than many on here realize. The SEC very well could be left out of the playoff in it's first year.

I was wondering the same thing. THIS I gotta see! Maybe he is planning on leaving the West out of the SECCG?

The fact that their D can't possibly be worse.

Not sure why you think this.

They have already lost 3 projected starters on their defense in the front 7 this offseason.

Pretty much most of their talent is completely inexperienced freshmen and redshirt freshmen. Their upper classmen are almost all marginal players at best teams like LSU/Bama had as plan C or D.

Their best hope is just to get as many freshmen on the field this year to build for the future...assuming those guys don't get kicked off the team too.

Not really. If there are 2 teams that have shown QB play matters very little it's LSU and Bama.

LSU went to the national title game, undefeated, with Jordan Jefferson and Jarrett Lee at QB. LEt that sink in.

What do some of you Ole Miss fans not understand about being overrated? You say the media picked you fourth, well he thinks you'll finish 6th. That equals overrated, and I agree.

We also lost Alshon Jeffery probowl receiver for the Bears Stephon Gilmore top 10 pick Melvin ingram top 20 pick Marcus Lattimore Devin Taylor all 5 of our starting linebackers season before last Devonte Holloman Stephen Garcia Sidney Rice George Rogers Sterling Sharpe and I can't remember who else.

You see what I'm saying here losing these guys ain't that you listed ain't that serious you can stop saying that now.

The one guy we had for all of that Wasn't connor Shaw.

I think you missed my point entirely which is understandable since you have no Idea who those last few players we're I mentioned. Anyway we've lost bigger pieces than connor shaw that's all I'm saying that's why you have a depth chart and you recruit.

3. Tennessee-I know no one is expecting much out of Tennessee. Well I'm here to tell you...expect less. Tennessee is going to suck monkey balls. They suck nearly everywhere...a couple of decent running backs...which doesn't matter at all with what amounts to a conference USA 2nd string OL trying to open holes for them. Decent WR's which also doesn't matter at all because Worley will be, by far, the worst starting QB in the SEC...and he will get pulled for someone worse mid-season. All new DL when the old one wasn't very good to begin with. Will be so bad that the recruiting class will start jumping ship in droves out of embarrassment.

You smoking crack or trolling on that? We are so far from overrated it's funny.

And don't be fooled when it comes to recruiting, our recruits know full well what to expect this year. They haven't been sold a bill of goods. They've been sold on restoring UT to greatness and joining last years class. But more than anything they've been sold on the energy and optimistic outlook Jones and Co. bring - they're exceedingly likable whether you want to admit that or not. Even those who turned us down last year, like UGA's RB Nick Chubb told the AJC this year that Jones was the hardest to turn down (and not because of salesmanship). I've never witnessed such a close team as we are now and the recruiting classes are the same way.

IOW, don't hold your breath on us having a lot of players jump ship. They're responding to the environment and potential.
