Yep, that was the silver lining for UK in the loss. UK had a less talented, over-achieving team compared to Louisville in 1986. Had we beaten LSU, he would definitely made UK his bitch too considering that Kenny Walker, Winston Bennett, Cedric Jenkins and Rob (Lob) Rock, our biggest players, were completely unable to handle Ellison on the blocks.

Most Elite 8s without a Final 4. I think Tennessee is up there.

The Ole Miss addition at the end wasnt necessary... We are the equivalent of basketball purgatory.

I remember when Ole Miss drained the 3 in the final seconds to beat Notre Dame and make the Sweet Sixteen sometime back in the early 2000s

I've always wished that Auburn basketball will make a turn around (we're defiantly on the right track now), but I'm young so the best Auburn team I've ever seen was probably 08-09 season when we went 24-12 and went on to the quarterfinals of... wait for it... the NIT. What a joke.

After Kentucky it's Florida I'm guessing. Arkansas has a few but only a couple in the SEC as I recall. The Tigers have been to four so I'm guessing that puts them in fourth, right?

If Tyndall can survive this NCAA deal I think we may well have us a coach. His Xs and Os are very good as are his halftime adjustments. Which of course means, the NCAA will force him out.
