But does that make it delusion or is it just a sign of stupidity or laziness?

Let’s see you explain why the final ranks of uga and uf make sense.

UGA their due for good recruiting

Wow,about as backhanded compliment as I've ever heard. But I thought we were "cheating" on a Bama like scale?

So are you saying you predicted Kirby would get to a Natty in year 2?

How bout this year? Multiple Gators predicted a big drop off after losing Chubb,Sony,Roquan etc

Has Kirby made mistakes? Sure and just like EVERY other
HC in his 3rd year but you guys seem to think Mullen is some type of metaphysical coaching wizard which somehow
translates to huge on field advantage. It just hasn't been the case or even close when the last two years.

I see two pretty good teams on that list of opponents - Auburn and LSU. The rest? Not good at all.

Because UGA lost 2 games in a row and embarrassed themselves against a meh Texas team. Florida won 5 games in a row. Including blowing out a team that was playoff bound a majority of the season.

You are. I wish Florida would too. I’ve been consistent with this.

It hasn’t. Mullen overachieved with a quarterback that was terrible before this year. Another year of Mullen’s system, plus another improved recruiting class has Florida fans excited. I think you and everybody else knows Mullen is a great coach. If we judged Kirby on year 1 against UF, it would paint a similar narrative as what y’all are professing about Mullen after his first year at UF

The final poll is supposed to take the whole season into account, and so is your reasoning.

Yet here you are, completely ignoring the number of wins, the quality of wins, the quality of losses, the head to head, the division title, sos, advanced stats.....just like some of the voters, which makes no sense .

No you didn't and included in your 4 game streak were victories SC (barely)Idaho and FSU

Edit I thought you meant the Michigan victory was part of a 5 game win streak and how does a mid season 5 game win streak come into play at the end of the season?

Real murderers row there.BTW this epic win streak was accomplished after a blowout loss to Mizzou.

That's like the 4th time you've posted this same GIF towards me.

It honestly doesn't bother me at all.

I didn’t say that we were better than UGA, nor did I think we deserved to finish ranked ahead of y’all. I was there in person for what happened in Jacksonville. We got our brains beat in in the last 5 minutes of the game. We did improve dramatically the last quarter of the season in every facet of the game. I think that’s why we finished ahead of y’all. It could be argued that if we played again in January the result would’ve been different than it was in October. I think that the final rankings were based on how each team finished. You’re only as good as your last game kind of logic. I don’t get how LSU finished ahead of us in the AP Poll when I watched my team beat them in person too

In the end it doesn’t matter much. Just a fun jab to be able to make in the offseason. Y’all have the ultimate trump card right now and anything else is just trolling. I do think we’ll come into Jacksonville a better team next year than we were this year though

My bad you’re right, 4 game win streak. Certainly didn’t major in math We kneeled on the 1 yard line against SC, could’ve and should’ve been 42-31 final btw

Don’t understand this. We beat Michigan. Like actually beat them on the field. 41-15. An arse whooping. I don’t see where the moral victory comes into play in that? A moral victory is being proud that you trailed Alabama for less than a minute of play combined in the last two games you played against them, but still lost both games. Then claiming that you deserved to be in the playoff because you played them tough.

Just say you beat UM then. Why in world would you add the part about a "playoff contender most of the year"

They obviously weren't close to being playoff Caliber after being exposed vs OSU and weren't helped when the other 4 players elected to sit out.

BTW you did have a 5 game streak but not at the end of the year.

Sure did and then you got way too much credit for doing so, which led to the overrank.

We beat them worse on a neutral field than OSU did at home. I think it’s fair to say the best 5 teams in America at the end of the year was Clemson, Alabama, Oklahoma, Georgia, and Florida. (Edit: Georgia on here because I do think the Sugar Bowl was a fluke. Texas played hard and UGA didn’t. I’m not going to pretend Texas is a better team)

And I meant at the end of the year. I counted an extra OOC game that didn’t happen. We beat USCe, Idaho, FSU, and Michigan to close the year. On a current 4 game winning streak. 5 if we count the incoming asswhooping in Orlando against the Canes in August

So if Florida got too much credit for beating Michigan, is that a slight against Michigan? Cause you think they suck?

Using the same logic, Texas got too much credit for beating UGA, too. Maybe UGA sucked too?
