And you guys placed a lot of hope into a rematch vs LSU in the Supers.

Enjoy your 0-5 and excuse yourself from this conversation

We didn't have much chance in the super. Congrats and good luck moving forward !

You are going to need something to cheer for other than football for the next 3 years

Wish I could say the same

Just imagine if Dak would've come to LSU like he wanted to

If Dak had gone to LSU, he wouldn't be a starting quarterback in the NFL because he wouldn't have developed into a quarterback capable of completing a forward pass. Mettenberger, the only NFL-caliber guy Les and Cam had, likely had better physical tools than Dak, albeit he couldn't run like Dak, but his game was so broken by the time he left Red Stick that he flamed out of the league that still employs Austin Davis. Lester was a good coach, but he could ruin a quartback unlike anyone else in the business

If Dak didn't go to Dallas, he wouldn't be a starting quarterback in the NFL.

To be fair, Carroll and Saban could carry a conversation with intelligible speech.

You are a complete fricking retard! So how one speaks dictates their intelligence? It's the same mentality that the majority have about people from South Louisiana. That we are all dumb because of the way we speak! frick off!

The Jets still exist... Point being, if Dak had gone to LSU, he wouldn't even be in the NFL because he wouldn't be able to throw downfield. Ironically, he never has to in Dallas and can Alex Smith people to death

What does that make Orgeron?

And you have no idea what type of HC Herman really is. You hope that he's a flash in the pan because it would vindicate your feelings of disappointment after he spurned LSU and left you with a hire that none of your opponents respected.

You're projecting your insecurities into wishful thinking.

No. The current offensive and defensive coordinators for LSU never coached for Derek Dooley. You guys sure are placing a lot of hope in Canada.

LSU has one of the best if not the best DC in the nation. If Canada is in the top 50% of OC in the nation its going to be a significant improvement for the Tigers. You better hope he is not a top 25% or better or its really going to be trouble.

Coach "O" did a good job last year with an interim OC without time to prepare. He deserves a season with his coordinators to show what he can do. I think we are better off than the past few years and they were not too bad. I am looking forward to seeing how things go. If he is able to win 10 games with DE at QB he is kicking some asssss.

His head coaching record is poo, he won't have a winning season while he's there
He's already had a winning season as Head Coach. (This past season)

After Miles got canned, O took over and turned the team around immediately.

What's gonna happen when you add OC Matt Canada to the mix?

Still have an average at best offense led by Danny Etling at QB, who allows defenses to stack the box against Guice

Funny. You couldn't find an L6U fan that hated him before he turned your asses down. Then reports flew around that he was the next HC at L6U, and you guys flooded the boards talking shite. Now he's suddenly comparable to Strong?

No LSU fan should honestly knock on other new coaches for now, because no matter what any of us believes, nationally we have been perceived to have made one of the worst coaching hires around.

Idk national media seems to love it.

Loving it and rating it a good hire are two different things. They get the best of both worlds with the Oeauxno hire. Get the hometown hero story, redemption and those lines. Plus when he fails they get to trash L6u for firing Miles mid season only to hire a failed retread and say dumb Southerners. It was a shite hire pressured by an unrealistic and unreasonable fan base.

Edit: those are what the media will say.
