Not only message boards, but ESPN, Fox, NFL Network and even mainstream late night talk shows. Many are expecting him to leave tomorrow...

What is with the Mississippi schools?
After 2007, Moo State had the coach of the year, had turned the corner, and was going to contend for the west.
I said their coach would be fired... (was a coach on the hot seat)

This year, ole miss is the best of the west, etc, etc.
I think 7-5 is the best they will do. If they loose to Vandy, it could get ugly.
Nutt wont get fired, but the lousy recruiting will be brought up. There will be all the same complaints the hogs used to have. They will slowly sink to the bottom of the West.
Lousy recruiting w/ the 22nd best class? Yes when that is 8th out of twelve, and the ranking is falsly high because you have 38 commits.

I don not know of one State fan that thought this and if you read a post, you missed the sarcasm.

Watch your mouth. It was posted, tongue in cheek, on an OM board. He didn't come over here spouting OM in the NC game BS. An LSU troll took the liberty of posting it here and turning it into some sort of prediction bullshite.

LMAO...did our coach get run out of his OWN state? get your reservations in S-port ready.

speaking of spewing the same shite every day.

My derogatory coaches description was about Orgeron, not Miles. I was pointing out that it is nice to have real a real coach and real expectations for next year instead of worrying about how bad we'd be embarrassed each week.

And there's your answer. When every single knowledgeable and respected sports figure condemns BP's actions, you might want to pay attention instead of sticking your fingers in your ears and screaming "I CAN'T HEAR YOU, I CAN'T HEAR YOU" like a 5 year old. Jesus, you people are completely delusional.

The national media praised OM for picking up HDN, and he proved them right by righting a ship that was sinking, no, not sinking, the damn ship was on the bottom of the ocean. Anything else?

Why exactly? Returning 16 starters from a 9-4 team, including being the only team in the west returning their starting quarterback. Ole Miss really only has two road tests at Vandy (who returns like their whole team) and at Auburn. The tough games are all at home. Helpful at the very least. The schedule is there and the talent is still there. Any rational person would think looking at that Ole Miss should pull off around a 9-3 season.

Ratings only count the top 20 recruits, you know that right?

Croom was the SEC coach of the year in 07. While the contending for the west may have been a slight exaggeration, the consensus was Miss State had turned the corner- after 1 good (not great) year.

Fast forward to present, ole miss has 1 good, not great year, and people think they'll win the west, maybe the mnc.

While it(ole miss getting a REAL title) could happen, I think it is as likely as Kentucky, Ark, or Vandy winning it all.

I don't think anyone with a fully functional brain stem thought Miss St had turned the corner.

Ole Miss '08 was a helluva lot better than State '07. This should be obvious and is undeniable.

Jordan Jefferson started two games right? Yeah...that's certainly a proven starter.
