This Ole Miss fan has done research and found that Ole Miss is among a few teams that could win the BCS Championship next year.

OM fans are more sensitive than Arky fans...It says I'm banned. They must have known I was a Hog!

Try having your boards inundated for the last year with people posting the same, repetitive, lame arse garbage we've all heard a thousand times before. You'd get to a point where enough is enough as well.
1) HDN is a snake oil salesman and he's going to run your program into the ground.
2) HDN can't recruit.
3) HDN won't and can't throw the ball on game day.
4) HDN is a sleazy, no morals coach.
5) HDN will win 1 or 2 a year he is supposed to lose, and will lose 3 or 4 a year he's supposed to win.

While I hope it doesn't, there is always a chance that our season next year turns out very poor. Injuries, mistakes and bad luck could easily turn a season where we can compete for the west into a miserable 7-5. Either way, next season has the chance for great success, and yes, that means that it's a long shot but the BCS Champ game is NOT out of the question (see 2007 for 2 loss teams backing in). Something we haven't had in a long time, and we're going to enjoy the ride.

And yes the BCS Champ game is pretty much out of the question. No one could care less about which games you have home and away or that you have a QB returning. The Ole Miss players coaches and fans are going to be dealing with something that none of them have ever dealt with before. Great expectations. Scratch that, Nutt has a few times.
Admit it. The excitement level for football next year at your school is off the charts. No one took you guys seriously until the very end of the season. And I don't even think Texas Tech took yall seriously going into the bowl game. For the first time in a long time yall have a chance to maybe tie for another SEC West title. Look, I'm not shitting on LSU for the 2 loss NC, hell, I'd KILL for a 2 loss NC. And I'm not trumpeting a guaranteed OM appearance in 09, I'm simply stating that it is not out of the question.
Div I football has been, at BEST unpredictable in recent years, and to say that it impossible for us to be there is short sighted and foolish. Let the hate go for a second and be rational.
I agree that it's a very......VEEEEERRRRRRYYYYYY long shot. But we have the talent, coaching and after last year, the confidence to put together the kind of season that ends up that way. After the O years of wondering about winning 1 or 2 in the SEC, I'll take a second helping of optimism with a side of anything can happen please.
