Oh really? Please do tell us your inside information that can say he is any better than athletes at other schools that have committed much more serious infractions but remained eligible to play....maybe even after a team vote

Feel bad for the players. Was in Oxford in 2013 for the Mizzou football game. Was arrested on the square for public intox while walking to get a cab after leaving a bar (I was 21 at the time). Thrown in a holding cell that consisted of 11 people in black and gold, and one Ole Miss student. Naturally got pissed during the arrest, so when I hired an Oxford lawyer to get the charges removed he told me the cops noted my behavior in their report and that the prosecutor told him he would pursue resisting arrest charges if I fought it. Really glad I paid him $1k just to plead guilty..

Point is - Oxford police are the worst I've seen after visiting numerous SEC campuses. Columbia MO police are bad when it comes to picking off underagers, but they don't bother you if you're walking home.

I checked out my arresting officer's facebook after the incident...he would make Officer Darren Wilson blush.

By the way, how many bars are on the square anyhow? We were told the first two we went to were at capacity and then had to settle paying $40 cover at the library. Complete rip-off.

The grove was great and lived up to expectations, however Oxford nightlife left a lot to be desired. Just my opinion at least.

There were thousands of people in Oxford and on the Square that didn't get arrested. I think I would start with myself and ask, "hmmmmm, I got arrested. What did I do differently from those that did not get arrested?" Pretty damn simple to not get arrested in my opinion.

Hadn't considered that. But apparently, OPD only arrests rich kids so he might have been wearing a Billy Reid outer coat or something. As I recall, the 2013 OM/UM game was a pretty chilly night.

Ruh roh, you can only stomp people's heads and get away with it in Baton Rouge. That's a rule.

I know reading comprehension isn't a strong suit for State fans, but as I stated I was simply walking to a cab. I'm assuming targeted because I was an opposing fan, as evidenced by the discrepancy between Mizzou and Ole Miss folks in jail that evening.

My reading comprehension is way better than your sentence structure. OK?

I left out a lone clause that did not change the message in any meaningful way.

But I digress.. Can't we just agree that Oxford is overrated and Ole Piss is a joke of a 'flagship institution'? Nearly all of the fans I encountered had their heads so far up their own asses that I'm surprised they could see their way to the next Oxford KKK rally.
