Not going to go a long way in their run for the Fulmer Cup. However, Elston and Stringfellow were arrested last night on the square. Charged with disorderly conduct and Elston also charged with resisting arrest.

According to reports, there were no threats made to "spray" anything.

It's surprising how much the local cops seem to hate the football team.

Students and fun in general not just ball players

State should follow the little brother rules and just be like South Carolina and start a thread and sticky it. Also, make sure this thread gets more hits than your recruiting thread.

DUI checkpoints then arrest you for drunk in public when you walk home

90% of my friends, including myself, were arrested for this, PI, or something similar in our time in Oxford.
OPD channels their inner-Hitler's SS
They are absurd.

Good to be in that 10 percentile

My sister got arrested walking out of a bar when she tripped over another girls purse that was on the ground near the doorway.
She wasn't very drunk at all. Cop didn't care.

Yeah but you should've been for borrowing that TV.

OPD is your true definition of a meathead cop. Never seen anything like it.

I don't understand how people just get slapped with petty charges. It would be hard to be more of a shite head than I was in college and I never had a PI/DC or anything of the like.
Small sample size I guess but it seems like it isn't that hard to not act like an idiot in front of cops.
ETA: I do think SPD is pretty lenient, never really heard of many drunk in public charges.
