Most people I know predict another 8-9 win season. I'd be thrilled with that considering our questions at OL and QB.

This is what I have heard as well. I think Kelly takes some time to set in, but by mid season he has the offense moving above average. Just need to find a good power back to control the clock. I'm really curious to see Stringfellow in the SEC opposite Treadwell.

I don't think Stringfellow is going to play that much tbh. At least not at first. He's been lazy and inconsistent on the practice field at best. His routes are awful. He has NFL athleticism but he's got to put it all together.

We didn't have engram or sanders against tcu if I'm not mistaking....those are our top 3 receivers.

We had Engram but only Engram. Gary Patterson said that's why it was so easy defending us.

Maybe they can sort it out this fall I hope. I think Quincy Adeboyjo and Cody Core will be fine #2s in the meantime.

beat five opponents that FINISHED the season in the top 25

It cracks me up when Mississippi St fans go on about how they beat 3 or whatever teams that were in the top 5.... One of those teams being A&M (don't know the others but the context of the troll made them all seem just as bad).

What are Ole Miss' first four games? Our first 3 or 4 are pretty sad. No baptism by tigerfire this year.

Delusional again......two totally different programs in development. Both doing alot better but Arky has the advantage with a STRONG finish and all skilled positions returning (especially QB). OM 'might' win 10 games if a lot of questions have positive answers. If not, OM could be at the bottom of the west!!!! Heard it here first!!

I like this guy, he gets it.

Many upvotes to you good sir.

Guess that's why we were number 1 in the country in scoring defense last year.

Sure didn't seem like it when Auburn put up 35 on that defense.

Until we have a sure-fire SEC quarterback, I'm sitting on the sidelines, fingers crossed

This is a very reasonable statement. The level of play from Scooba Tech to the SEC is a different ball game. Kelly had XBox numbers there but everyone who has played there has done well.

But the biggest problem is going to be the running game. If yall cannot run the ball to take pressure of Kelly it could be a tough spot.

I just don't see OM being able to run the the ball 40-50% of the time to take pressure off Kelly. The Bama game may get brutal.

Because we're counting on Treadwell not snapping his ankle again.

considering we already had the West wrapped up.

No, the egg bowl was played first before the iron bowl. A tide loss and a state win would've given state the west. State had plenty to play for.

Didn't freeze say at media days that machine gun Kelly isn't even the probable starter in the first game?

They probably wouldn't feel as confident had the media not hyped them up so much. Their schedule does set up nicely though. They will have a good team if their qb comes through.

When you return the majority of what was the best scoring D in the conference you have something to be confident about ... Now our offense....
