Ole Miss fans: Why so confident considering how the team finished last year.

You guys finished 1-4 against D-1 competition, benefitted by getting State after they played Arkansas and got beat up. Ole Miss arguably had the worst back half of the season in the conference.
You lose your leader on defense, lose your QB, have the NCAA hanging around poking its here and there trying to find a rat to talk.
Yeah you get Treadwell back, but he's just one guy catching passes. If the OL is leaky and the QB is inconsistent he's taken out of the gameplan before the Defense even has to scheme for him or cheat a nickel back on him. You guys have some tremendous individual talents on your team, Freeze didn't show me much coaching mettle to keep the team competitive in the back half of the year.
I don't understand why Ole Miss fans are as cocksure about this season as they are. Enlighten me please.

Our hopes fall on QB play, OL play/depth and LB depth.. I feel the O-line has/will come together. I'm hopeful that we can make at least one quarterback out of all the potential talent we have. WR and DL groups are top notch. I also couldn't be more thrilled with our replacement DB's. Still curious how our LB's are gonna work out.

State played Vandy the week before they played us, dumbass. If you think the team that got manhandled by TCU was the same team that beat Bama, you didn't pay very close attention.
Explain to me why Arkansas should be so confident after they won 2 SEC games and beat a horrible Texas team?

whoops, got that mixed up. You guys played state after playing us. That was a good bounce back game to win a rivalry game.

You asked why we're so confident since we finished so shitty. Well...
A) We are healthy and our quarterback isn't playing with a bum ankle (thanks Trey Flowers)
B) All of our playmakers on defense are back except for Golson. And he is being replaced with someone that has just as much talent, if not more.
