All of my ole miss friends/family just think of the grove as a fun place to tailgate. And that's what it is. I have never known anyone to try and push some sort of magic upon it.

I mean, kids at Alabama, Auburn and Ole Miss all dress very similarily. Pledges all wear coats and ties, actives generally wear khakis and some wear ties and others polo shirts, non greeks wear polos or t-shirts. Pretty much mirror images.

every. single. tailgate.

There are many varieties of chicken tenders. The truth is that you can't grill in the grove for safety reasons, and LSU has better food, but doesn't have the same aesthetic beauty the grove has. LSU is a more traditional tailgate and the grove is like the world's largest wedding reception.

You don't realize how good tailgating in the SEC is until you go to a fricking Washington Redskins game.

Bunch of a-holes wearing RGIII jerseys shotgunning Bud Light, shooting Fireball, and eating chips and salsa while grilling those premade frozen burgers. And the scenery is a parking lot and a bunch of cars.

God damn it fricking sucks y'all.

I remember when I went to South Carolina in 2005 I couldn't believe that tailgaiting was basically parking in a big parking lot that surrounded the stadium.

I have heard that they have built new areas that are pretty cool since then, though.

I spent a year in Lincoln, Nebraska. Don't talk to me about shitty tailgating

FWIW..MOST NFL tailgates suck a-hole. 99% of the Saints tailgates I've been to were embarrassing.

That pretty much sums it up perfectly. Nothing wrong with either.

Hahahahaha

Still makes me crack up whenever we get close to the stadium and my wife reaches in her purse and tries to make me throw on a Phi Mu <3 Tide sticker. Pretty sure she has some sort of infinite supply that she stole from the srat house her last year there.

We took my 3 year old to the FAU game and my wife and sister had a mini half joking half real fight over whether my little girl was going to wear a Phi Mu or Chi O sticker.

I told them not to worry hopefully she would end up dkyish and want to go to Middlebury or something so I could avoid 18 years of rush.

Every LSU fan ever says this. It must bug the shite out of you that no major media outlet seems to agree with this.

Ole Miss is usually not relevant enough for these major media outlets to go there very often (see Game Day this past weekend).

If you experience something a lot, it becomes less cool.
