Are you a Mississippi State fan? If so, I just want you to know that your program isn't half of what Ole Miss's is. And that is saying a lot.

Seems to me we just beat them 10 months ago!!!

You just said what everyone else was thinking. I wondered the same thing driving down the road yesterday. I was like turning into Target to grab some groceries and it was like someone rear ended me. What the hell are we doing at #10 in AP poll?

--1st half of the BSU game, granted we look good in the 2nd
--Vandy at times moved the ball on us and turned the ball over to assist our win, granted that was our 3rd string
--ULL exposed us at times on defense, missed assignments, poor execution, granted we had started letting the 3rd string play at that point too

Here is where utter terror sunk in: if we beat Memphis next week we will be higher in the top 10. I was like 8 maybe 7, no way to comprehend.

Someone pinch me. Is this a dream?

Well by that logic....we beat top 10lsu last season.

So that means we should be higher than lsu this year because of only one game last year?

Someone please fill me in on how the hell Ole Miss is ranked this high?

No I'm not knocking your team at all. Think you've got a pretty good one, but what exactly have you done to deserve this ranking?

Um if Miss State was ranked as high as Ole Miss in the preseason rankings, Mississippi State would also be #10. Not hard to figure that one out.

I don't think they are a top ten team, but right now, who deserves to be ranked ahead of them?

I'm not real big on ranking teams with losses ahead of teams without them, but if we are being honest I don't see how you can rank them ahead of michigan st. Sure the big10 is down this year, but that doesn't mean michigan state is down. losing at Oregon should not drop you.

No they wouldn't.

Boise is literally better than every team y'all have played. Quit your bitching.

Our fans are so bad at doing this.

We've won every game we've played in by multiple scores. Yes, they weren't against great teams, but nobody has played multiple good teams at this point outside of South Carolina.

No, we weren't perfect, but we took care of business. LSU, Alabama, and Florida State have all looked flawed thus far, but you don't see anybody thinking they don't deserve to be there.

Just enjoy it while we've got it.

So what will Mississippi State be after they beat LSU this saturday? I say 13-17 range.

I hope we don't start reading our press clippings too much.

I really wish we were more or less in Auburn's position: no one is talking about us.

ok here's what I'm wondering, what gives to make ole miss 9 spots ahead of mizzou. I have no problem giving ole miss credit but we're in practically the same boat.

We may very well lose, but it will not be a blow out if we do.
