Coach got fired he didn't resign. Norms side is bs as was Daley's. The stupid thing of whole deal was that Norm had three chances to get the whole thing to go away and he wouldn't.

The Peeler thing with the Camaro was the dumbest, but I truly believe Norm didn't know everything on that one. I think they buried positives multiple times to keep AP around. He may have been best MU player of all.

They just showed Mizzou

a) that was not a good turnout
b) your coach just lied on national television when he said you had the best fans

They kicked it off with a Volleyball game between Bulldogs and Cats

Cats won 3-0

They did more wide shots on the ESPN3 feed, Mizzou's arena looked about 75% capacity from what I saw. Again, for most places that is a good turnout and certainly relative to the Auburn, LSU, Ole Miss type dregs of SEC hoops. Compared to the North Carolinas, Kentuckys, Dukes and Syracuses being showcased tonight of course its not as good a turnout. I never expected it to be. But relative to most programs' events like this we were fine; that's why we were part of the ESPN rotation to begin with.

Well, whoever had the idea of putting the basketball court on The Square deserves a pat on the back. If it would have been in the Sad Pad, nobody would have shown up.

Christ we are halfway into this thing and it is mostly ACC. Only 2 SEC schools I have seen are Kentucky and Missouri!

It is a major production by UK. Matthew Mitchell (women's coach) came out doing MC Hammer dance (every year, he does a dance)...he knocked out of the park. Best dance of the night was Goodwin.

Observations...Harrow is a slasher, dude has hops for size and can drive to the basket.

Noel is all defense...going to improve by the end of the year on offense...do not compare his to the unibrow, completely different.

Wiltjer is the man...dude has improved and probably be the leading scorer majority of games.

Alex P, going to be a poor mans MKG.

Like I said earlier, for programs that maybe don't have that fan pull that we have for basketball that's a pretty sweet idea. I'd go see it.

If it's 75% full people would probably sit in the lower before the upper thus it wouldn't be empty in the lower...

I don't think so. Would have been great if it did.
