That is if the FBI story is even true.
TMZ is fairly spot on.

This is where the facts will come out. The NCAA does not have subpoena power, but the FBI does. Records are going to come out and people are going to start talking.
If anyone paid for Cam Newton to come to Auburn, we will know about it now.
If the FBI finds nothing, I am content in conceding that Newton did not get paid.
Pretty spot on summary. I think we all just want the truth.

All of a sudden after this info and Gene Chizik's presser today, I'm thinking these 2 pics have a lot in common now.

I know we all love to jump to conclusions here, but from that little blurb i read it sure seemed like this was related to a college wide problem, not a cam newton specific problem. Also, it centers around bond.
I know im guilty of whistling past the graveyard, but no more guilty than some of you are of reading auburn its last rites for something that really has no backbone right now.

Auburn is about to burn
We shall see.
As others have said, if Auburn did wrong, then so be it. We deserve to be punished. But if not I can guarangoddamntee you that every single one of the posters piling on Cam Newton and Auburn will scurry back under the fridge like a bunch of cockroaches.
I've heard absolutely none of you say what, if anything, you have to say if Auburn is innocent.

Gene CHizik is 500 homerun hitter?
Posted on 11/9/10 at 4:43 pm to crimsonsaint
doubtful. But, I'm happy that the investigation will move from unamed sources to depositions of real fricking people.
if AU is guilty, bring the punishment. But if this is a hit job, someone needs the pain brought hard.

John Bond better get his facts straight quick.
John Bond has had his story straight the whole time.
If the Feds/FBI get involved, the Newton's will be royally fricked. (assuming they did something wrong)
