Ignoring the game clock.

Wrong, I am sure we can find a game where a Coach Saban team had a delay of game penalty.

Good guess though

It's the quarterback's job to watch the play clock, not the head coach's.

Lose in the BCS title game?

Lose to Ole Miss?

Lose to Arkansas?

Any thread about LSU and Saban that doesn't directly relate to a season he was at LSU is idiotic at this point. That relationship has been over for quite some time. Saban threads should be in regards to his current position, head coach for Alabama.

Wrong answers as Coach Saban has lost to Arkansas and Mississippi. The BCS answer is a good one, but not the we are seeking for the purposes of this survey

I'm sorry Saban didn't love you, but we are happy.

He did. Absolutely he did. The tone of his local interviews and 'Inside LSU Football' shows softened in his last few years; and his wife and family loved the community.
But Saban was talked into taking the Miami job when Wayne Huizenga landed his helicopter on Saban's front lawn off Highland Road, and all but gave him complete control, not to mention a Fort Knox contract.
That's not to say had Saban resisted, that he would still be in Baton Rouge, but I would think he would have done just as well as he has in Tuscaloosa had he stayed.

You do realize he contacted LSU to inquire about getting his job back before taking the Bama job?

Saban had his eye on the Bama job while at LSU.

The REC set up the whole Miami job just so Saban to Bama could evolve.

I read this as
