Notre Dame is going to get the shite beat out of them in the BCS championship game. Alabama will be 100% rested with moste of our players healthy and Saban will have had a month to game plan. It would not surprise me if ND didn't score.
I think the Tide wins by 21

Agreed 100%. This could be the worst Championship game ever, even worst than last years
I could see Te'o winning the Heisman, then Bama running right at him all day long and rushing for over 215 yards.

I think Bama wins as well. Its will be an interesting game and we will all get to see if ND's defense can live up to its ranking.

Play LSU
then Bama
Then Georgia
Then Auburn (ok I was joking here )
then USC
It is the week in and week out grind that makes the SEC so difficult.
Show me who played that schedule.
This is the whole flaw in this argument. You keep saying ND couldn't play a full SEC schedule, based on the fact that six of the top teams in the country are in the SEC, BUT NO ONE PLAYS ALL OF THEM. Alabama played only three of the top six SEC teams. They didn't play Alabama, USC, or Florida (they also had essentially two bye weeks before UGA). You don't think it's possible ND could have went 3-0, or at least 2-1, in Bama's tough games? Georgia didn't play Georgia, LSU, or A&M. They didn't play anyone before USC, had a bye week and then Kentucky before Florida, and then four opponents ranging from terrible to below average before Alabama. Is it not possible ND could have went 3-0, or at least 2-1, in those contests?
ETA: This is not about the strength of the SEC as a whole, or it's difficulty, it's about the whole "ND would have four losses in the SEC". There are not four losses on UGA's or Bama's schedule, especially when you figure even two losses means you take away another tough game because ND wouldn't be in the SECCG.

Well, LSU didnt play all of them. But, we played UF, TAMU, USCe, and Bama. ND would go 1-3 in those games.
Just put ND in the SECW instead of Auburn. They would have to play LSU, Bama, TAMU, Miss St. And lets say they play USCe(because I dont want to put UGA or UF, they would whine) for cross division game. They would be 1-4, 2-3 at best. Only wins on that schedule for ND would be USCe(maybe) and Miss St(close game).

If Notre Dame was in the SEC and recruiting hard in SEC territory, they'd run the conference.
Bama would become the next Arkansas.

I just watched 4 of their games the past couple of days. The term overrated is coming to mind. I'm expecting Bama to show them a full Rusty Sandusky.

But it's not always like this. UT is usually a top tier team and so is Auburn so add those to the scheule. Auburn and UT will be back sooner than later.
We are going to arse drag ND and go home.

Honestly, I've been to the other two BCS games and I've got hotels and tickets to this one, and I'm wondering if it's worth the expense and effort to go down there. I don't really want to be on South Beach with a bunch of Notre Dame fans.

We're talking about this year.
ETA: ND's schedule is rated higher than both Bama's and UGA according to Sagarin.

Ha ok. Sure, ND could compete in the SEC for this year only. Would they be a top 4 team in the SEC, still doubt it. And as far as the strength of schedule, who was the best team ND played this year? Stanford is probably the best team they played all year. Stanford would lose multiple games in the SEC. Sure, ND went undefeated and it was a great season for them, but look at the wins.
Beat Purdue 20-17. Purdue would win maybe 2 games in the SEC.
Beat Michigan 13-6. That Michigan D sure came to play that day. Bama embarrassed that same team a few weeks earlier 41-14.
Beat Stanford 20-13 on a very controversial call in OT. But, still won and its the best W of the season for ND
Beat BYU 17-14. Really?? BYU?
Beat Pitt 29-26 in 3OT. Should of been a loss if Pitts kicker didnt shank one.
The best wins for ND were against Stanford and Oklahoma. Both teams would lose multiple games against SEC teams.

You're overlooking the fact that they're wins. That sounds stupid, but it's true. College football is such a grind, just win games, it really doesn't matter how. The BYU game was without Golson, look at Rees' stats that game (and it's still a win over a bowl eligible team). Beating Michigan is a good win. Beating Stanford is a great win. Beating Oklahoma is a great win (let alone on the road by 17).
Did ND play every game perfectly? No, of course not. But they did enough to win. That's all Kelly and the team cared about. And that's all that matters. For example, if you look at the score of the BC game, it looks like ND struggled since they won by 15 against a two-win team. But we executed the game exactly the way we wanted to and were in complete control if you watched. No need to do anything fancy or force things or try for "style points". Just win.

No im not. I totally agree that its a grind and the main thing is getting the W. But, this is about ND being a top 3-4 team in the SEC. You think college football is a grind, imagine what the SEC is like. If your grinding out games vs Pitt, BYU, and Michigan, you dont belong in the SEC. Those teams would be the easiest teams on an SEC schedule. 1 of Alabamas easiest wins this year was against Michigan, and that is a good, grind it out win for ND.
