I watched Florida piledrive the #1 rushing defense in the country, and run all over my team in the 4th quarter. I don't see that happen to LSU often. That's a pretty damn good offense if you ask me.

Maybe. But when all is said and done, Bama's two toughest games this year were against LSU and Georgia. I imagine they'll beat ND by 3 TD's or more.

Best TE in college football, best LB in college football (here come the UGA fans...), one of the top two or three centers in cfb, great LT, good RBs, two DL that will go top-20 in the NFL draft, QB that's raw and sometimes mistake-prone, but talented... ND has plenty of talent.

Very possible. Im not knocking the SEC just the dickriding that goes on around here. Notre Dame is a good football team this year. Their D-would put them in the top 1/4 of the SEC this year.

Look forward to the game and hope Bama beats them.

LSU and Florida both won about 4 SEC games with 0 offense.

LSU and UF both had power running games to at least help in field position games. ND only scored in the 22 against a horrible USC defense.

Notre Dame would finish behind

Alabam
Georgia
Florida
LSU
Texas A&M
South Carolina

That doesn't qualify as a top 3-4 team in the SEC

Why is it hard for people to understand that yes, ND has a pretty good defense but their offense is on par with Auburn. Bama is going to win about 24-3 or something like that.

Ok.

His stats are pretty comparable to Kevin Minter.

The National Championship Game was played Saturday in Atlanta.

The bowls games and NCG in Miami are just for fun.

ND 50+ Ranked offense won't be able to Rest their defense...which will become ugly late.

Notre Dame would finish behind Alabama, Georgia and Florida( although that one is close)

They would be on level and compete with LSU,aTm,South Carolina

Nvm. He has less total tackles than Minter.

A&M would destroy ND. They have no offense, our OL would make their DL look stupid, and Johnny would throw for 350+ yds. ND has a pretty good defense, but they didn't play against any elite offensive lines.

negative. ND couldn't hang with LSU even if they don't have the smartest coach in the world. Our talent alone is some of the best in the country. Coaching edge to kelly. talent landslide to LSU
You must not have watched LSU in about half our wins this year

probably true - with Bama or UGA's regular season schedule they probably finish with no more than one loss - with LSU or Florida's regular season schedule I think they would finish with two losses

Sorry, I just don't buy it and I have watched a lot of ND football this year. ND has been insanely lucky this year, they could easily have 4 losses to some pretty mediocre football teams.

Purdue, BYU, and Pitt are all mediocre teams that should have beaten ND but choked. They needed serious help from the striped men to beat Stanford in OT and they got Stanford before they changed QB's and became a substantially better team. The win over USC is being built up as some impressive accomplishment but USC is terrible this year and they were without their starting QB and their backup could barely throw an accurate screen pass.

The only impressive win ND has is really OU (I have trouble counting Stanford as Stanford was robbed).

I just don't see how ND manages to matchup with those teams in the SEC. Vegas agrees.
