Not LSU D Line vs A&M O Line. It's can A&M hold on D?

So we have two future NFL O-liners. LSU has this great D. Who wins?

On comparing line alone A&M wins.

Overall D vs O it's a toss up.

My prediction is the game hinges on if A&M can stop LSU.

Alright. It's on record. I'll find out soon enough if I'm right.

Good luck LSU. Have fun at the game. I hope you lose.

A&M is very good at rushing the passer but didn't hold up well when Florida started pounding away with the run in the second half. LSU will do that from the start

True, but if A&M scores first and continues early LSU will be forced to change.

The question is can A&M stop the run.

The answer is no.

I don't think LSU would be as quick to abandon the run as you think they will. They won't put it on Mettenberger unless it becomes a dire, dire situation. If they stick with the run long enough, it will work and there will be holes in the aTm defense.

Watch the time of possession. If LSU hangs on to the ball for 33+ minutes, that'll mean the running game is working and Manziel will be on the sidelines.

I agree that's where it will be decided. Can A&M stop LSU's offense? I think so, but barely. A&M holds LSU to <30, we're in good shape.

So do you think A&M will score at least 30?

Florida beat AM without having film footage to study. AM got on them early but once Florida adjusted, the couldn't keep up the scoring.

LSU has several games on film to study so I think they can knock AM off their game early.

wait are you saying that A&M's o line with its 2 NFL caliber players is better than LSU's D line with 2 top 5 picks in the draft and anthony freak johnson, who in 2 years will be a top 3 pick? along with Bennie logan, and EGO?

please tell me i misunderstood you

Pretty sure he meant time of possession because he was responding to my post when I said that would be the biggest key to this game.

Edit: Completely missed his response. My mistake

No idea really. I figure since Joeckel and Matthews are spoken of as 'seeing them on Sunday soon' they're good. I've read the hype and all about both sides, but Saturday will tell lots.

So you think the difference between the 117th ranked scoring defense in the country and the 8th ranked scoring defense in the country is 20 something points?

One team has broken 30 points against us in almost 3 years

If you think you are going to put up 30 points you might as well start biting the pillow now

Charlie Kelly writes better then you do
